Nations can commit genocide without Socialist or Communist ideology to help them.

Some people think libraries, police, fire fighting organizations, etc., which are run by both the government and individuals, are worthwhile examples of socialism, though I imagine that you might not agree.
If you look at the nations that have socialized health care, you can see that their economic systems are a combination of capitalism & socialism.
You don’t think, obviously, that we are smart enough to pick which systems could be run efficiently & to everyone’s benefit by the governement, though we are probably smarter & better than Sweden, the UK, Canada, German, & France combined.
I would not condemn Mrs. Obama for the rest of her life for that remark, but that is just me.

The small example of socialized health care (Medicare, Medicaid) in this country is going bankrupt.

Here’s the part that is so friggin stupid, and not just Shirley, cuz I heard this Fed Ex argument before. (I believe all the thoughts being expressed by Shirley were picked up by reading airheads posting on the Daily Kos.)
The part they leave out is that for the same ten bucks it takes to send that “letter” through fed ex – you can stuff that envelope to the gills, as long as it’s in there they send it. And if you do decide it’s worth it to get a single sheet of paper somewhere OVERNIGHT – it’s guranteed. I’ve had a few instances in my 20 years using Fed Ex where they missed the morning deadline and delivered in the afternoon. I was immediately reimbursed. Try having that happen with the US POSTAL SERVICE! lol.
I just sent a very important envelope to HippieCritic, recently, through the Postal service. (Why, I still do not fully understand, I am usually a fed ex customer.) The envelope arrived empty. You know what the government remedy was?

This is a line from Irony Curtain, and it sums up a government agency VERY accurately; “The Post Office is the kind of place that gets angry with you the more business you bring it.” So true. I have heard workers audibly sigh when they saw me online with a mass mailing.

Liberal’s arguments are never logical or air tight. They are so full of inaccuracies, because I find that liberals do not argue their points drawn out to logical conclusions. All the ideas exist in some bubble about 5 inches from their mouths, and they are perfect because, afterall, a liberal thought of it. That’s all that needs to be contemplated.
