I’m no fan of O’Reilly but I’m willing to give a bit of benefit of the doubt here and say he’s playing devil’s advocate. The Army is also in a position where if they focus on the behavior of Muslim soldiers, they’re accused of profiling, harassment, racism, yadaayadayada. If they DON’T do enough and one these douchbags goes on a rampage, then they are negligent. Tails I win, heads you loose. (no pun intended)

The MSM will do everything they can to squelch the concept of Maj. Hasan going on a premeditated rampage fueled by his religion and ideology. It doesn’t fit the template of Muslims as victims of American imperialist aggression through which all such things must be viewed. Lt. Col. Peters is, IMO absolutely right and we as a society continue to ignore people like him at our peril.

Let me be the first to stand up for O’Reilly. Like him or not, there are issues you would not even see discussed on TV if not for the Factor – like Vermont as “The Nambla State” – so cut him some slack.
He brings you Peters, Goldberg, Miller, Beck AND Marina Hot-For-Words! And he always gives Limbaugh a fair shake – unheard of on other networks. Yes, I also switch channels if I see Sharpton, Hill or Ellis (“Now We Don’t Have To Wonder What A Gay Brando Would Sound Like”) Hennigan but it’s the price we pay.
Side note: I saw this when it aired and both me and Mrs. Curtain looked at each other when he said, “…his wife in bed with her girlfriend” ..not that there’s anything wrong with that.

I love Colonel Peters. Since this man retired a Lt Colonel and remembering my dad’s comments about officer advancement in the Army, he has always said what was on his mind, damned be the idiot “superiors”.
