I Can No Longer Parody Joe Biden
How can you parody a guy with this sort of monumental idiocy?
I can’t make up anything more buffoonish. It’s futile.

Arizona Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords returned to the floor of the House to cast a vote on the bill. It was her first appearance there since she was shot in the head at a meet-and-greet with constituents in Tucson in January. She was accompanied by her husband, astronaut Mark Kelly, and close friend Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
Giffords was greeted at the door by Democratic Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and received a prolonged standing ovation from her House colleagues. Vice President Joe Biden also stopped by to see her.
When Biden was asked about what he spoke with Giffords about, he joked, “She’s now a member of the cracked head club like me.”

Ok, so Gabby Giffords showed up for a “rally moment” for the Dems. But has she been determined to be of sound mind to participate in a Congressional vote?

Apparently taking a gunshot to the brainpan makes no difference in the ability of a Progressive to do a job that depends on things like “thinking”.
I am not sure why they do not prop Ted Kennedy in the back of the Senate, a-la Weekend at Bernie’s, and have him vote.
This Giffords situation just shows how stupid and senseless our Government and people who represent us have truly become.

I am actually quite sickened at the ‘half brain” diatribe.
Giffords, no matter what she believed or any other BS, didn’t deserve one in the noggin.
HOWEVER, I’m more disturbed with the dems, spotlighting this as some achievement.
Seriously, this is how they reintroduce her.

Nothing but political pornography. She wasn’t needed there for her vote.
The fact that her doctors would release her for this show, shows that her doctors don’t have the best interest of their patient at heart.

Yeah, I left the Fox channel on after the six o’clock hour, and it ran into Shemp Smith (I usually never watch him or the 8 o’clocker), who was gushing, “Oh look, there’s Gabby Giffords. Isn’t she just courageous.” I immediately jumped up and changed the channel.
Excuse me, why is getting shot in the head and getting the best medical treatment that taxpayer money can buy a reason to applaud and wet your BVDs?
If you or I were to have the same thing happen we’d be rushed to the ER and lie on a gurney until we died.

Ok, I agree, Biden is a dork and his cracked head comment was a bad joke, especially that I doubt anyone was “joking” when he lost his wife and baby daughter, almost his two sons in a horrific car accident. Then later he almost lost his own life to a brain aneurysm and pulmonary blot clot.

Poor Gabby, been thru hell. Shot in the head. Horrible. On pain killers and sedatives for months. Miraculously made it thru brain surgeries. Survived by the power of prayer and the grace of G-O-D. Against all odds Gabby lights up the ball room. On the other hand, Joe is relegated to lighting up the janitor’s closet. And Joe is not getting very good performance reviews.
