It is the value neutral environment of the schools and too many homes that I blame. If nothing else, the Muslims beat their moral values into their children and it sticks.

The Romans did this by assimilating the religions of the various peoples they conquered into their own State religion. This caused the early Christians a lot of grief because they would not assimilate and were perceived as just a weird Jewish cult by their Roman rulers.

Some of my favorite blogs are written by cultural theorists who happen to be either christian or jewish. Most of these are thoughtful and many have a great twist on humor.
For example Satan’s Blog is a great commentary on the continual degeneration of culture…and well written by someone well versed in christian ethics & history.

In the West it is push back against Judeo-Christian influence. In the far east against Buddism & Hinduism.

I do not consider Islam to be in this category since it is a failed hybrid and was always a political tool for conquest not conversion.

All I want is common sense & trying to convince me that these fringes should overturn the foundation of eons of philosophical evolution that actually benefited mankind makes about as much sense as expecting science to prove or disprove the existence of GOD ( But they will still try won’t they…that is how confused these folks are )
