This is excellent although I wish he would have addressed the issue of having the OCR option on when scanning the document. Others have suggested that can create layers.
I was thinking the same thing, Ken. But I think he, in fact, did. He said if a scanner was involved you’d have the color sensors leaving haloed artifacts around the characters. Since that is absent on the PDF it couldn’t have been scanned, it had to be created with imaging software. – bfh

Did anyone notice the father’s race is listed as “African”? I never in my life heard anyone be called that. At the time of the President’s birth, people of Obama Sr’s race were called “Negro.”
That was the first thing that jumped out at me. The other is (and this was brought up on another site, and I saw it, too…) It is highly unlikely that a clerk would center all the type-written information. Tabs are left-justified.

Really it is very simple…
Soetero & crew caused this problem through his actions during the election and subsequently during his term in office.
The actions re-enforce how many americans judge the character of this man.
They do not trust him.
They do not trust the process under which he was elected.
They do not believe the official narrative.
When on his ambitious path to glory and power Obama/Soetero operated under the philosophy of ” the ends justifies the means” to qualify many questionable decisions (Odinga) and words to
gain the prize of the presidency and in doing so has been made accountable he has only himself to blame.
He sealed his records from public scrutiny expected of other politicians who complied.
He and his supporters demeaned americans who asked questions.
playing the race card got old 3 seconds after it was played in the primaries…
He and his party manipulated this issue as a cheap political strategy aimed at republicans to gain a cheap advantage…which re-enforced the mis-trust many feel…
He has spent millions preventing FOIA requests and motions for discovery.
The Main stream media has used this to try and discredit the new media while there is legislation brought forth to silence both talk radio & bloggers and control the flow of information on the net.
And what can any reasonable american conclude about Soetero from this sequence of events…That this man is a “bad actor” not trustworthy…flawed in a similar way to Nixon…
It is what has happened to America under his watch that will defeat him in 2012. But it is the actions covering up his background that makes people mistrust him…the two go hand in hand…
Soetero’s presidency coupled with Pelosi & Reid’s tenure in congress has been an epic failure…

I think an elementary error is being committed here – he’s comparing a PDF to a scan. Yes, the scan will show the blurred edges. But a PDF will not.

When I first saw the document I noticed the difference in the border to the main field I watched the video and see other discrepencies between the AP scan and the White House version. In the numbered sequence the register of the numbers seem to differ. Also at the bottom, AUG seems to be in a slightly different location. But most amazing when I googled this and supposedly went to the official White House site and clicked to view the pdf – for an instant you can see the type layers load!

The real concern here is that there are two different versions of the scan to start with. Supposedly the AP scan was a scan of a document provided as a printout from the White House at the Press Briefing. If the White House is providing a handout printed from the original scan, in color it shouldnt look like the AP scan because it would show the safety paper designs. Even if it were a black and white printout of the scan you would still see the safety paper design pattern, which you do not in the AP scan. What is the Provenance of the original printout handed to the reporters at the briefing that the AP then scanned and provided that has no safety paper designs or patterns anywhwere?

( Art Director / Graphic Designer/ Illustrator) with over 20 + CREATING graphic documents,… started in the non digital age,…. 1986
The above video IS correct in his procedural assessment.
If you want to counterfeit Documents AND have them be declared as “Authentic” the BEST way is to do it the “OLD FASHIONED” way.
Ie use analog equipment. NOT digital.
Equipment list:
A BLANK original form FROM the correct year on the correct paper. If it is NOT available, YOU need to RE manufacture it.
A type writer Manufactured FROM the correct year of the document being created.
All of the necessary seals and stamps used to certify authenticity from the YEAR in question. (these should be REAL seals and stamps)
OLD ink from the year in Question. If none is available, you need to RE-manufacture it to the correct formula.
A Printing Press. and all equipment needed to use it.
inks, paper, ect.
A Stat Camera. Equipment to process stat camera film.
The ability to USE all the above mentioned equipment and the LACK of fear at getting caught and going to JAIL.
So concerning Barry’s LATEST attempt,…
I would say FAIL.
But I REALLY REALLY would like to see the REAL Doc. AND handle it.
