YouTube is requiring first offense copyright infringers to go to copyright school before their accounts are reinstated.

    Copyright infringement does NOT include logotypes!…isn’t that correct BFH!

    So if I understand this…if my account is cancelled for life, all I need to do is create another gmail or yahoo alias and I’m good to go for 3 more violations…got it…Thanks!

    You tube has a tendency to always fall on the side of the original artist when it comes to the fair use clause.

    Pretty much what Server With A Gun said. You Tube can pretty much shut down then.

    See this is where things get ridiculous.

    You shoot a clip of your buddy being a douche bag, not even related to your event music is in the background. The clip gets 75,000 views and somewhere around 15,000 they start asking you about partnering with youtube. Then you read all the BS and realize they’ll bust your ass because now they’ll watch your clip to insure you’re ‘partner material.’ The clip had nothing to do with the random song in the background, nobody is there watching the clip because of the music, yet you are in fact violating something.
