@ aceofwands Last year on 9/11, I asked neighbors to join me in a commemoration of 9/11. We gathered at our neighborhood flag pole, I distributed small flags, and copies of the Lord’s Prayer. We had the Pledge of Allegiance, a prayer, some neighbors told of people they knew who died in the Towers, and, they would have been there on that day if not for other circumstances. We closed with the Lord’s Prayer, and walked to the entrance of our subdivision and placed our flags there in tribute to all of those who died on that day. This year I mentioned to some friends that I wanted to burn a koran, also. They were afraid, even here in the country, in Texas. God bless Ann for her courage, and God give me the courage to stand up to fear.
