Try as they will, Christmas won’t go away as long as the calendar says winter starts around December 20, and summer begins around June 20. Days get longer after Dec. 25, and they get shorter after Jun. 25. Good luck denying that.

First Things is a great publication, if you have not seen it before. Evangelical Catholic and stongly ecumenical, there are contributions by Protestants as well. I’m not Catholic, but I’m an enthusiastic subscriber.

I LOVE it. But, could they redo it in color and insert the asian, black, hispanic, middleasturd….men (dogs), instead of those ol’ True Patriots?

God Bless our Troops! Merry Christmas.

That is a really epic picture. Of all the renditions of this amazing event, this is the only one that is appropriate and is really one and the same thing as the original event.

Would make quite the Christmas card to Nina Totenberg.
