Calculations in business and medical matters concerning the value of human life always sound cold and crass and are always off-the-wall. How much is a single human life worth? More than all the Pintos ever produced, of course. But you can’t make business decisions based on infinite resources. Some people just don’t get that. They can’t get past the fact someone may die.

Eagle scout? He’s wearing the Life badge on his left breast pocket. The scoutmaster is awarding another merit badge. Not the Eagle Scout medal. Just what I see in the photo.

As an Eagle scout myself, I hope MM has not cheapened that achievement.

Dunno Reluxcat, the badge has a white edge, so it looks like it could be the Eagle patch. Both of my sons are Eagles so I’ve seen it. Thinking of MM as an Eagle makes me want to puke! What a poser.
