We need another RR, geeze, his words are so inspiring today !
it’s truly sad, how far our country has sunk, since obumbles took over…
Ronald Reagan said it best; “Government isn’t the Soulution, Government IS THE PROBLEM” …
Look at the mess in the Gulf of Mexico…
Look at the mess Fannie and Freddie are in…
Look at how well the VA takes care of our brave returning soldiers…
Hey Obama! If I’m not mistaken, you do have ears. Rather large ones at that.

Seems to me that the foolish people gave their uninformed consent to the dismantling of America the day they elected Obama.
Let’s hope he doesn’t lose the pieces so we can try and rebuild it after he’s gone.

I voted for him 3 times, (incl. ’76 GOP primary in Tx.) Clone him and I’ll go for 4. What occupies WH now wouldn’t make a pimple on his ass.

What would Reagan do today? What would he do?
And what would he say?
He used to carry a photo of that guy who weighed a thousand pounds and would show it to liberals in government and say, why do they keep taking him food? What a fantastic metaphor for overgrown government. Stop feeding it.
We can start by taking out salt and soda in Congress.

Not sure where this should go. Ive got “The Revolution” marathon on the military channel playing. It never ceases to amaze me how the United States was victorious against the British.
When I look to see how some of the other great ancient world powers helped the survival of God’s people, it can only be said by Jehovah God and his son Christ Jesus’ direction that this country was born.
Egypt – Hebrews survive famine
Medo-Persians – Return the Jews back to Israel by govt decree by Cyrus the Great
Greeks – Became the common language for the “known” world. Hebrew scriptures translated into common language, the Septuagent. The new Christian scriptures all written in Greek. (except for Matthew in Hebrew)
Roman Empire – Built roads throughout the empire hastening the spread of Christianity
United States – formed under the ideas of freedom, including religious freedom. Later the USA becomes beacon of freedom for the entire world through example and action. (up to Jan 2009)
Also, my revolutionary hero for today:
LT Nathaniel Fanning.
He “started his career on the oceans as a privateer conducting commerce-raiding cruises against the British before the Revolutionary War. He quickly worked his way up to prizemaster and was shortly thereafter taken prisoner by the British during an unsuccessful raid. After spending over a year in prison, he was released and travelled to the French Port of L’ Orient. There he served under John Paul Jones as a midshipman aboard the BON HOMME RICHARD. During the battle between the RICHARD and H.M.S. SERAPIS at the Flamborough Head in September of 1779, Fanning was appointed captain of the main top. After the battle, Jones cited Fanning as “one cause among the prominent in obtaining victory” Fanning went on to command the French privateer COUNT DE GUICHEN and the French brig RANGER. He was instrumental in the U S. Navy’s dominance over the Atlantic.”
This clip needs to be put on a 24-hour loop and played at the White House, Capitol Building and Supreme Court building until things change.

Now see, it really isn’t all that complicated is it? Nothing in Ronnie’s speech was hard to understand; in fact it’s somelike like that old economic theory of supply vs. demand – only different.
@jclady – you may be right – if they (Congress) have to listen to it long enough, it may knock out some of their cobwebs and they’ll start thinking again…

We have descended so far since Ronald Reagan’s days, that Government is no longer just the problem.
In many ways, Government is the enemy and those that support big Government (statists) are aiders and abettors…

I’ll never forget his crackdown on illegal immigrants, amnesty for three million peeps. Today things seem more complicated, but amnesty was the conservative thing to do.

Hines, clearly you were either not alive or a fully sentient being in the years 1980-1988, because you would have personally witnessed the dramatic improvement in the USA in that interim.
Reagan was re-elected by a landslide and then his vice president was elected in a landslide. Only FDR matched that record of success in the past 100 years. And that must be because Reagan improved the situation of most Americans … what is your counter argument?
