I have no idea how that kid restrained himself from punching that congresscritter right square in the nose. As soon as Etheridge grabbed the kid, and especially after he grabbed his neck, the guy opened the door for a major knuckle sandwich. One solid right hand with appropriate followthrough could have exploded Mr. Etheridge’s nose, and would have been appropriate.

“Then” call the local police dept. and have the son of a gun arrested.

But, Kudos (I guess) to the kid for being a “better man” and exhibiting restraint. I know that skillset does not exist within me. That critter should kiss his career goodbye.

If the Congress critter didn’t want to answer the question, he could simply have kept on walking instead of manhandling the student. The only thing I would say in Etheridge’s defense is that when he asked who they were, they should have said what college they were attending, and not simply said “students.”
