Madeline Halfbright Resets Her Opinion on Russia

Home - by - March 21, 2014 - 07:30 America/New_York - 11 Comments

Now, after previously being part of the chorus that ridiculed Romney for calling Russia a region to be concerned with, Madeline Albright took to the Tee Vee and, without any sense of humility, said that she knew all along that Putin was a danger.

Ya, okay.

Well, she was really tough on the Russkies back in the day…

“I had an arrow pin that looked like a missile, and when we were negotiating the Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty with the Russians, the Russian foreign minister asked, “Is that one of your missile interceptors you’re wearing?” And I responded, “Yes. We make them very small. Let’s negotiate.” Or, after we found that the Russians had planted a listening device—a “bug”—into a conference room near my office in the State Department, the next time I saw the Russians, I wore this huge bug. They got the message.”

Remind me again how it is exactly that Putin is a danger to the US?

All this going on about Putin is nothing more than a distraction and an attempt for obama to create a crisis where none exist.

Just look at his track record with Egypt and Syria…do you want to trust his assessment?

Agreed, Jack Daniels. Russia is a vodka-soaked economic basket case with a declining population, a bunch of fearsome-looking yet obsolete and decrepit military hardware, and an army which hasn’t really seen battle sincen Afghanistan.

This is more Europe’s problem than ours, but Barky wants to draw a line somewhere, and the edge of what remains of Ukraine is where he draws it. Putin has gotten what he wants and is merely jerking the West’s chain with ominous talk about ethnic Russians outside of Russia needing protection.

Barky will send our troops on a joint exercise with Ukraine, and he will strut and preen about standing firm against Putin. I bet Kerry has already promised Putin that our military exercises will be “unbelievably small”.

What Russia is getting away with says more about how weak Europe is than how strong Russia is, and how stupid our foreign policy has been for the last 6 years.

Well, the ol’ broad, whoops, thought that by dancing the Kim Kucaracha, and sipping blueberry liquor, she would deliver peace in her time on the Korean Peninsula with the Jonger. Too late. He’s under glass while The Un is in charge now.
