BeclowNATION

So much schadenfreude to enjoy here in The Nation. Maybe it’s reading about all the progress made in rolling back public sector unions since 2010, maybe its reading about some of the limited efforts to give entry level workers a chance at a job (reforming minimum wage standards and age restrictions) or maybe it’s this plea for donations I enjoyed the most.

The Nation is facing a crippling postal rate hike-donate by October 31 to help us foot this $120,272 bill.

The comments section for this one has more trolls than Moochell has ticks.

Read the fun the with Commie’s article here

(This is actually their cover this week)

Seems that made union membership voluntary as now is dues…

    Isn’t that called “Choice”?

Here is the comment I left on the article. It should get about 100 thumbs down in the next 5 minutes.

The “Right to Work” is a red herring. It should be called what it is: forced unionization. Remember, if just ONE PERSON has a right, THEN EVERYONE HAS THE EXACT SAME RIGHT. And don’t give me any crap about abortion. Those rights are now called reproductive rights. Both males and females have them.

If you live in a state that enforces your RIGHT TO CHOOSE whether or not to join a union, that is NOT the right to work. I have a right to work and I live in California. The reason I have a right to work is because EVERYONE has the right to work. However, here in California, the unions have paid massive amounts of money to ensure that the legislature compels union membership for specific occupations.

It has nothing to do with the right to work. It has everything to do with union dues being used to buy politicians to ensure union membership is not hampered in any way by your right to choose.

    Noteworthy Comment Thumb up +11

Interesting Nation cover for Zoe’s article. She must have written it while chooming in a VW minibus parked outside the NEA union headquarters.

Why are they charging the people anything to read that? Why are they asking for money? Isn’t it the people’s rights to read that for free? What is wrong with them?

    Bwaahahahaha.

    Thumb up +6

Those comments are precious! I imagine Zoe is slitting her wrists about now (or at least thinking of moving to Texas!)
