Mrs. Clarence Thomas

Home - by BigFurHat - March 14, 2010 - 18:02 UTC - 20 Comments

“I adore all the new citizen patriots who are rising up across this country,” Thomas, who goes by Ginni, said on the panel at the Conservative Political Action Conference. “I have felt called to the front lines with you, with my fellow citizens, to preserve what made America great.”

“I am an ordinary citizen from Omaha, Neb., who just may have the chance to preserve liberty along with you and other people like you,” she said at a recent panel discussion with tea party leaders in Washington. Thomas went on to count herself among those energized into action by President Obama’s “hard-left agenda.”

From the LaTimesSCOTUS Thomas

She is the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, and she has launched a tea-party-linked group that could test the traditional notions of political impartiality for the court.

Really? Umm, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, not her husband, was the founder of the Women’s Rights Project at the ACLU. But the ACLU doesn’t have a radical political point of view, do they? Shut up LA Times.

So Clarence Thomas is married to a tall voluptuous fair skined Conservative woman, is he?

Just makes that one time in his life when he went completly ape shit over that scrawny black liberal Anita Hill all the more mysterious.

What WERE you thinking, Justice Thomas?

So, the progressive, liberal, N.O.W. supporting, L.A. Times wants the little woman to stay home, keep her mouth shut and just cook dinner. They probably don’t think she should be able to vote either.

During the Thomas lynching, errr..confirmation hearings, Anita Hill testified, under oath, that she felt harassed and essentially did not know what was happening or what she could do about it. What the liberals did not key on was:
    1. Anita Hill was a lawyer, at the EEOC no less. If she was the least bit competent, she should have at least known the EEOC rules.
    2. The EEOC devised the definition of sexual harassment – a definition that is used in virtually every state. And yes, the EEOC definition of sexual harassment was in effect at the time of the hearings.
    3. The EEOC has strict rules against retaliation for reporting sexual harassment.
So, when Ms. Hill testified about “poor little me – I think I was harassed by mean ole’ Mr. Thomas and could not do anything about it,” she was lying. That is, in fact, one of the things the EEOC does. If her claims had had any merit, there would have been a line of John Edwards types salivating for a chance to go after the EEOC.

Rose, not recognizing irony is insany-er.

Ted Danson used to knock boots with Whoopie Goldberg. I was going to use the guy who played Tom Willis on the Jeffersons, but I didn’t think anyone would know who Franklin Cover was.

Besides, I was just trying to get ahead of the Lefties on this one, who are indeed, insane.
