A deer getting into a building is bad enough.
Imagine a Giraffe.
a wonderful job of putting these pix together every week! seemingly not an easy task, but a fun one! always enjoyable
I Luv Bacon
I keep looking for a Vulpes vulpes fulva.
Have a glorious Sunday, Claudia!
Stirrin the Cracker Pot
And hello to you too! Thanks for today’s critters Claudia.
Loretta in Indiana
I look forward to this every Sunday — a bright spot in the week!
Very nice Claudia.
The Lost Dog
But it reminds me of a question I’ve had since I went to SeaWorld about 25 years ago. Can anyone tell me why female sea lions(or maybe walruses – it’s been a long time)have pubic hair? I don’t get it…
…And what IS that thing with the claws? OMG!
That’s a star-nosed mole. I know…first time I saw one I ran away screaming like a little girl. Well, I WAS a little girl (6 or 7), but really. Tom boys just don’t do that! – Claudia
Another great batch, C.
Birdie Num Num-Enemy of the State
Moles look like some freakin’ aliens from Neptune.
(Or from Uranus..heh heh heh heh)
Is that the ultimate girlfriend?
Sometimes I think I am beyond help…
The thing with claws is a mole.
Waaahahaha, that was great! Thanks, Claudia
It’s a star nosed mole:
The kissing rabbits are New Zealand Reds (according to my daughter – the 2012 4H Maryland state rabbit judging champion).
I actually did know that, but it’s Silly Sunday up here in CT. Now that I think of it, every day is Silly Sunday in CT.
Thanks, aar, and everybody have a great day. It’s back to reality. I just spent $600 to replace something half the size of my pinky so my car won’t blow up. I’m just trying to laugh it off.
Stop the rabbits from kissing or we’ll be hip-deep in them in no time.
Too late! – Claudia
Love the zebras in the mirror! Thanks, Claudia!
Love the doorway shots! The one with the husky – and the other with the bunny, but of course all are great – as usual!
Thank you, Claudia. We can all thank The Great Spirit that star nosed moles aren’t six feet tall.
Your efforts are wonderful and greatly appreciated. Thank you again for a little sparkle in a day where I would gladly blow up my car if I didn’t need it to get to work tomorrow.
And just one more piece of trivia.
My name is (honestly) Tom, so I guess I’m a Tomboy too…
Sundays are always better with your pictures, Claudia but they’re even better when a turtle is involved! I have a sea turtle I want to use for an avatar but for some reason I cannot get it to work–thus the eagle (I actually took the picture btw).
That Husky looks like it just walked in on its master whackin’ it.
Ha, good stuff, thanks for the smile Claudia.
you need two 3/4 inch dowels, and two sea turtles. If you put them both on top of a dowel, they will have an air swimming race that neither one will ever win.
Please, please, please! Somebody come shoot me…
We were at LA Zoo (Griffith Park) last year. Many of the animals said, “Hello.”
But the Orangutans are a bunch of hams. With an uncanny curiosity, they (even the tiniest babies) came right up to the visitors, mimicked the kids faces and hand gestures. They we’re as genuinely happy to see us as we were to see them.
If you can find the 2-season DVD of Orangutan Island, please watch! It is educational and heartwarming.
I don’t know how you manage to find these, Claudia, but they are always the best
