Off thread, just a thought: If you were washed up on a desert island with about 50 random people, among them Speaker Pelosi, Harry Reid, Barack Obama, Eric Cantor, Sarah Palin, Cong. Ryan, Gov. Jindal, Cong. Barney Frank, Sen. Scott Brown — name anyone you please — who do you think would take charge and get people inspired and working toward a common goal of survival and ultimately a productuve community? Who would be the leader to tap into the best of everyone’s nature to release the human potential?

As an Italian I have been following the history of the Roman Empire and can say that we are riding the same tracks to our own destruction. Without giving a history lesson here the more you research the more you realize a democracy cannot last forever. But!

I realize you folks aren’t happy with Obama, you didn’t vote for him. I felt the same way during the Bush years, and yes I would have loved to see the man impeached because of the systematic attack on our bill of rights. But he didnt get impeached and I just had to wait it out. But you folks seem to be subtly advocating violence, anarchy, you know, “whatever it takes” and if that anarchy takes hold, you will only have yourselves to blame for the downfall of this nation, you and Glenn Beck. So THAT’s why you are un-American. The truth is you were not in the majority in the last election. Nobody fooled you, nobody fooled me.
