I guess I can forgive CTD now for immediately halting gun sales on their website after the Sandy Hook shooting. They still charge WAY too much for shipping.

I’d buy more form CTD if they didn’t have to ship it CLEAR ACROSS the country and charge appropriately. Their hearts are in the right place, though.

Yeah, I seem to remember how they were raping customers over the price of certain desirable products. Strengthening hunting and shooting programs sounds progtalk to me. Hunting and shooting is not the issue. The 2nd Amendment Right is! And would someone please tell Schmucky Schummer the difference between rights and priveledges? He cannot limit or take away something that he did not give in the first place. That is a gift from God alone.

I am not familiar with CTD but I re-uped in the NRA for three years. I also send the NRA a donation every now and then, not everytime they ask; they ask on the average ot every 9 days. FFS! But it’s a great cause.

Nobody, I mean NOBODY overcharged more for ammo, to this day, than CTD. I’m done with them. NRA lifer, I’ll make my own contributions, I don’t need to be robbed so they can make them for me.

AWD won’t ever do bidness with CTD! They cowardly pulled AR’s for sale after Sandy Hook and still gouge the hell out of customers on ammo.

Too many good gun companies to buy from who aren’t cowards nor gougers!

CTD is NOT on my shopping list. You can’t undo what you did, no matter how much you pay. Obviously their sales have reflected this need for $500k penance.

Come on you guys. You sound like them freaken snipers on AR-15.com. If they donated $500,000. to the NRA then they’ve learned a hard lesson and they are back on the good side of things. Give them break, yea I’m talking to you too AWD.

Although I have browsed their online ammo, I am not dumb enough to pay 1.10 a pistol round.

Too bad about them folding with the online rifle sales, but it looks like they’re paying ajizzya to the NRA to get lost sales back.

I’ll start buying from CTD when they FIRE the asshole that was responsible for their cowardly sales decisions and scalping! They also need to stop sales to commie states and their police depts. Then, I might support them. If you need ammo and reloading supplies, try looking on ammoseek.com. CTD will still show up there, but I’ll spend a couple of cents more to buy from a rival. If CTD is way lower, I’ll wait a couple of weeks. They really suck. BadBrad – they must have raked in a lot more than half a mil when they raped the consumers.

I see there is a lot of hate for CTD. Can’t say I disagree, what they did after sandy hook was despicable and cowardly, for that little stunt I have stayed away. The gouging argument has no real merit however. Are they charging more? Yup, so what. Because they charge more they actually have some inventory. Try buying elsewhere, try buying at wal mart of fleet farm or gander mountain (insert your state’s own sporting goods store) they have NO ammo for sale. I would rather pay more and actually be able to buy than look at another stores empty shelves and admire their prices.

OK, this is pretty easy. Do your comparison shopping online. Try co combine orders to save on shipping costs. Ammo is expensive everywhere. so your options are limited. (I hope you seocked up)
Everything is either expensive or unobtainable these days. Supplies are improving, but the market has been unsettled long enough for you to get prepared. You still need to do it, but it will be more expensive now.
So don’t blame CTD, or Brownells or Midway or Natchez or Cabelas. Man up, gear up, and shut up.
And Keep an eye on those sales flyers.

I did man up, dude. I bought elsewhere that did not and has not gouged yet. The company I bought from stated they will not ever gouge.

So you go ahead and let them profit from over-charging you and give them no reason to ever change their ways.

    I’m sitting here with stock I didn’t over-pay for.

The same reason I didn’t pay $99.00 for an AR-15 mag in January. Screw that. Only fools give them reason to keep it up.

“Are they charging more? Yup, so what. Because they charge more they actually have some inventory”

True, this is capitalism, but I (consumer) reserve the right to bitch about their policies and refrain from doing business with them. A few weeks ago I found some 9mm ammo at Wal Mart for about $15, CTD that day was trying to sell the same stuff for over $50. I really hope no one is that desperate for practice ammo!

They did this before, and they will try and do it again, but i will never darken their end of the internet again. You want to charge me $99+ for a 12.95pmag, 75+ for ammo that was under 20$, yeah go frack your self. I dont care how much money you give to groups i agree with, you wont ever get money from me.
