GIVE GENEROUSLY TO ANGRY WHITE DUDE’S AMMUNITION BANK FOR THE LESS FORTUNATE!
TOGETHER WE CAN SOLVE THE AMMUNITION CRISIS!
Welcome to Angry White Dude’s ammo bank! The AWD Ammo Bank is dedicated to arming and providing much needed ammo to those in need. AWD’S Ammo Bank is a somewhat non-profit agency dedicated to putting quality ammo into the hands of the less fortunate. The Ammo Bank is built around the NRA and GOA’s Emergency Ammunition Assistance Program (EAAP). This program makes much needed guns and ammunition available to qualifying households. This program makes a substantial difference for all right-wing extremist families struggling with ammo shortages due to all this gun control nonsense. Ammunition, firearms, knives, bats, etc (no rape whistles) are all made available free of charge to people qualifying for AWD’s Ammo Bank assistance.
To face this problem head-on, we need to rethink ammunition needs by providing better methods of distribution, developing new ways to extend our ammunition reach and improving the arsenals of those we serve. You can rest at ease knowing we don’t serve liberals.
We know that lack of ammo affects one’s psychological health. So, we’re stepping up our efforts to support the ammunitional needs of bullet-hungry American patriots. We’re also learning more about their needs, developing new ways to distribute ammunition to more people according to the calibers needed and measuring the positive impact of access to quality ammo.
Fighting ammo shortages is a daunting task but we can succeed with your help.

What shortage?

AWD needs to troll Wal*Mart more often. I have a habit of getting a coffee daily, I could make it at home, but going out meeting the world head on to get it keeps me somewhat tame.
My coffee run happens to be Wal*Mart where there is a Dunkin Donuts with fast, cheap and good coffee.
After I get my coffee, like a mall walker, I walk to the back of the store where the sporting goods section is. I regularly have been picking up .40, .45, .22 and even *gasp* .223 and 5.56. Prices are “normal,” though last week I found .45 WWB almost $5 cheaper than .40 Winchester White Box, which was odd.

I count on you guys to answer my questions before I get a chance to ask them, but I have to ask this time. Is that the once-certifiably-hot Sally Strothers, or just your average fat lady?

Lol! A picture like that will only cause people to hoard more ammo. Might as well try an ammo buy-back program with a picture of reverend Al.
RCBS has a cure for your problem. Good luck.

AWD is right about the shortage. If someones finding ample supplies of ammo it’s a fluke. And you can’t reload if there’s no primers, brass, or bullets. And right now all of those are in short supply for .223. That’s why every ones moving to 7.62 by 39. Lot’s of commie ammo laying around. Our local Wal mart is out of just about everything including .22lr

I happened into more ammo this morning at Wal*Mart. I’ve picked up over 600 rounds of .223/5.56 since about mid January all reasonably priced. Though I did buy some spendy 20 round packs of .223, just to experiment with, they’re heavy 75+gr stuff.
So this morning Wal*Mart had 50 round packs of WWB in .45 and Tulammo Brass Maxx in .40 and .45, there were about 8-10 packs of each. I grabbed only 100 rounds of .40 Tulammo because I recently found a lone box and bought it, so have 150 rounds total. I’ve never shot the stuff before and think I invested enough for a fair trial @ $19.67/box.
I’m also starting to get picky about what I’m buying because I’m pretty well stocked and critical of packaging size. For bulk ammo, I’m all about compact so I can jam more into an ammo can. A 100 round box of WWB .40 takes up 2/3′rds the space of 2 50 round packs of that Tulammo stuff and it will fill a can, the bigger packaging leaves gaps!

Our local Walmart still sells 525 bricks of Federal HV HP .22 LR at pre-freakout prices. The problem is being there when they come in. The bricks disappear in hours. If you happen to be there, the limit is 3 bricks per person per day – which is reasonable given scarcity. The clerk in the sporting goods department advised calling his department after 9:30 PM to check on the arrival of possible shipments. Try it in your town – it may work.
For the reloaders in our iOTW family, there’s a great local business in Kalispell, MT, who make and market very high quality jacketed pistol bullets, some .223 jacketed bullets and some swaged lead bullets at quite reasonable prices. They are Montana Gold Bullets, phone number (406) 755-2717 and e-mail address bullets@montanagoldbullet.com. Shipping is figured into the cost of the package. The owners are really great people. Check them out. I don’t think they’re running too far behind in filling orders. I recently got a sizeable order filled in less than two weeks.
@ Unruly: So does Dillon. Check out the 550. Still reasonably priced and still top quality. I know that mine has loaded many 100Ks of pistol and rifle rounds, counting me and our sons, without a hitch.

I checked out the ammo stock at Dick’s Sporting goods today and was told that they can hardly get anything but shotgun and a few others.
There’s always wheel weights and bullet molds. Just reduce the pressure to avoid heavy leading.

@really enraged, thanks for that info. Dillon is top quality. Got my RCBS in the 1980s and have been rocking happily with that, but I do admire those nice looking Dillon presses. Must be sweet to load with those.
I have family in Kalispell. I’ll have to see if they can get me some of that Montana Gold.

@ Unruly: I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with the product. BTW, LEE makes good moulds, including 6 hole gang moulds that have worked well for me. You just have to cool them more often than the steel/iron moulds. Gas checks help nicely with the leading issue. As for the Dillon – 100 rounds every 15 minutes without cracking a sweat.
