    @Dan – That over 200K state on the East Coast is Virginia not NC. Probably people who work in DC but live in VA

    @Dan

    That’s okay. When you’re down in NC and looking up at VA, it makes it look upside down, mirror-imagy and all. Easy to mix up the two.

    Sorta like those “US States” wooden maps you might have had as a kid…trying to figure out which was Colorado and which was Wyoming…sheesh!

    Agreed, though Dan…Screw Cali, and screw Maryland for that matter.

    My heart goes out to the good people of Texas and North Carolina.

    For myself, I am glad to see what may happen in CT. All the Rep’s and Sen’s are D’s, the Guv is a D, too. I really am going to wait and hear how they spin this. OH, of course, IT’S BUSH’S FAULT. General Dynamics (The Sub builder), Pratt-Whitney (jet engines), Sikorsky (helicopters), Hamilton-Sundstrand (military jet components). Thats just the Big-4. Then of course all of the satellite companies that support these companies. OH it’s going to get ugly. And lets not forget the U.S. Naval Submarine Base in Groton-New London. A cut back on the number of ships, and personnel will certainly effect this base, which has been on the chopping block a number of times. This time it may not escape.
    Well, Elections have consequences.

    The Dems will blame it on Republicans, even tho it’s the Dem policies that have brought us to this, and the Dem worshippers will believe it.

    My job left @ 835am, Nov 9th, 2012. I have not seen one since. I guess they all got in a bus and went off the fiscal cliff so they could see what was down there, more empty buses and 1 empty chair holding an empty suit.

    My state is finally red! My state is finally red!

    This sucks. I’m in McFartus’ boat. We need a lot more than the ‘sequester’, and I may need to start looking in other states.

    Since most are government and/or unionistas, I’m incapable of sympathy. In fact, I’m going to rather enjoy it.

    As for Texas, a country boy can survive.

    Wanna bet that even with 400,000 jobs lost in just two states, the March unemployment numbers will show a decrease of one tenth of one percent? Any takers?
