Soldier Pups
Images are from an email that was sent to me from a soldier friend. Don’t know who took the pics. It made me tear up.
God bless our soldiers; with and without fur.

Well done Claudia!!! I haven’t teared up but not because I’m a tough guy, rather I smiled because of a pride swelling up in me for my brothers in arms. (I’m former) That looked like a happy and content bunch of pups who were snoozing with the GIs.

What a blessing and comfort those dogs must be to our soldiers. Once again reminded of the goodness and wisdom of God for giving us such wonderful creatures. Yes, indeed – find myself with a lump in my throat at the thought.
Excellent post Claudia – as usual!

Luv the pictures. As medic I tried to keep the guys and gals away from the dogs at first, but then I realized that was impossible. The dogs over there love Americans and can tell the difference between a GI and a haji from 1/4 mile away. Best body guards ever

bubba says loyalty can be spelled with 3 letters as well.
There’s a book out there called “The genius of dogs”, bubba highly recommends it.

Of all the blood and gore he endured in his 9 month vacation at Cop Najil, nothing upset my son more than when some asshat shot all the dogs at the COP.

Very nice Claudia. Working dogs are a playing a large roll with our fighting forces in war, plus the muzzies hate them. I would bet that the dog in free fall is jumping with a Navy Seal they are only ones that do high attitude insertions that I know of.

Thanks for sharing! They’re all awesome, but that last silhouette picture is the best!

Great photos! Makes me tear up thinking about my dog that passed a couple of years ago (the one in my avatar). Our family has a beagle now, good dog we rescued from a shelter, but the German Shepard was an amazing dog. I would gladly spend the rest of my life on a deserted island with a good dog than a regressive libtard.

Great theme, great pics – thanks Claudia.
Not that this dog was in a combat zone, but it made think of that dog that laid down next to the coffin of his owner in his memorial service. Very moving!

Shoot, sandybanks. I got this before I put these pics together, too, and I missed putting it with these. Dang. Well, I’ll just have to do another set of doggies in the military later. – Claudia

Here is another photo of a military dog. And Ted Rall had the audacity to say our military is pampered.

And we will all be waiting in eager anticipation. I hope you know how much your critter collections mean to many of us. At times they are the only happy smiles and tears of the whole week.

Great pics! Thanks for sharing them. My best friend is still pissed at me for changing brands of dog food, but he doesn’t let that get in the way of our friendship.
