Bullpen Imagery is No Longer Allowed

The very next day, and despite my rant yesterday, and despite a big warning on the submission page that no images above 250×250 should be uploaded, I see this-  648×864

    1) a link to a website is OK, yes?
    2) a link to a video – WHEN FOLLOWED BY SOMETHING (so the vid doesn’t show up) – is OK, yes?

    I didn’t mention any names today, and I didn’t yesterday, either.
    It’s not important and I don’t hold grudges.
    If someone as valued and loyal as the “offender” can slip up then it means that we can’t have that feature.
    I can’t monitor the bullpen, and if I don’t the database can get way too bloated.
    Awhile back I offered the position of Bullpen Administrator to someone who felt like they could have fun doing it.
    Maybe that could include watching out for the database, too. I dunno.

    I’m trying to figure out how Stirrin did it. Your rant yesterday was like reading the ‘Troubleshooting’ guide for my Gateway 20 years ago.

    Step 1. Click on Sub-atomic file in Cache file of database subset and you should be OK.

    Here’s the pic I shouldn’t have uploaded.

    I took it because of the sticker that says “Pro Choice / Choose Life”. Really? Had to grab the camera and snap it.

    After getting it into paint so I could circle it I read the rest and found a beauty – “You are what you eat / Go Organic” the beauty is I snapped the pic right as the bag from Jack in the Box was being handed to her.

    I thought it would be fun to point and laugh.

    The photo option was nice but not completely necessary. Since a link to the photo will work, I see that as a better option than goobering up the IOTW database.

    I was surprised that we (speaking for myself) were allowed to upload any pics at all. I’m not used to being treated with such generousity.

    I almost let slip a couple with too many kilobytes. Could have been me instead of Stirrin.

    We don’t need the pics, but thanks for trusting us on a trial basis, BFH.

    Since you are running the site in WordPress, try looking for a plugin that will automatically reduce the size of the image…
