Torn (not me, the constitution)

Alec Baldwin Flees Twitter after NYPD Launches “Hate Crime” Investigation.

I can’t stand Alec Baldwin, but “hate crime investigation?” Are you kidding me?

He called a photographer a coon. Where’s the crime? I see the stupidity, but I’m pretty sure that’s not a crime, because if it was we’d be shaving Joe Biden’s ankles and putting lube on his temples right about now.

I hate to do this, but I have to in order to prove a point and be the canary in the coal mine.

I hope people (and especially the plaintiff) understand me when I say, “hey photographer, YOU’RE A COON!”

Now come and get me.

Seriously, what is happening in America?

Damn! I live in the south and I haven’t heard that expression in a coon’s age.

I agree that “hate crime investigations” are moronic, but the concept is a libtard creation. I personally like seeing an ignorant, lib gasbag like Baldwin be the target of their own stupid PC laws. What goes around, comes around.

Nobody has a right to tell anybody who they can or cannot hate. What if you hate everything and everybody (like a few people I’ve known did), does that make everything you do and say a crime?

Sure Baldwin is a hateful piece of shit, and make the bastard run till he has a heart attack, but I agree that “hate crime” laws are nothing but a political tool for leftists.

As tempting as it is to point and laugh, it’s actually time to come to Baldwin’s defense, not pile on. In order to best illustrate how friggin stupid their beliefs are we should save him from his own hoisted petard.

Cheering on the PC police, because we like who the target is now, does us no good at all.

Unless I’m mistaken, the word, “coon” was banned here until recently. I’ve tried to write something about coon dogs in the past and got kicked plum out of the comment box with nothing to show for it.

Thanks for fixings that error that must have angered every coon hunter that posts here.

Try writing Hines. That gets you bounced too. The name Hines isn’t offensive, it’s used to block a user. If you use words from time to time and the comment doesn’t appear it’s because it’s probably part of a blacklist of trolls. But, and this is a big but (like Michelle’s, we’re not going to leave up comments that are overtly racist and ignorant. I used the word “coon” to illustrate a point, that someone shouldn’t be investigated by the police as if it’s a crime to use the word. But if Alec Baldwin, or anyone else, just kept dropping the term “coon” around to describe EVERY BLACK PERSON, or a person they know nothing about, or a good citizen that happens to be black, I’m deleting it.
It’s not a crime, but it’s not welcomed here.

Baldwin was obviously niggled by the black photographer, but the PC police have turned niggardly social actions into major crimes.

Making hatred a crime is a troubling development.

Say, did you know Hate is not a Family Value?

Mostly because it isn’t a noun.

I’d like to see his response to people on the Right coming to his rescue. Seriously would. It might be good. Like a long lasting jolt from a taser gun, he wouldn’t know whether to shit or go blind.

Hate Crimes have always been about criminalizing thought. Once you have effectively outlawed incorrect opinions, you have fully enslaved everyone.

Hate crimes and speech crimes have no place in these United States of America, which is why The Left loves them.

Chicago didn’t start out like it is now.
Somewhere along the line, the people least competent to run anything sought political office, and secured it because they had no ethical compunction about lying, stealing, cheating or killing.
What happened there is happening everywhere.

I have some coons living under the deck and they’ve never been offended by the word ‘coon.’

They do get a tad upset when I don’t leave them popcorn and sunflower seeds.

Hey Fur, I’m with you all the way on this. This might be one the breaks conservatives get for turning such a tea party beater. You know Saul went around bashing the Christians until he was rendered blind and left to find his own way.

Hey Alec, if you’re reading this I hope you figure it out, dude.

The problem is that there is such a THING as a “hate crime”.
The concept is flawed and unconstitutional, IMHO. However, it is the law.

I couldn’t bring myself to defend that steaming pile of narcissistic pus no matter what.
I wish he’d been charged with “assault” for manhandling the reporter. You can’t just go around grabbing people.
I understand she has filed a complaint.

If “it’s flawed and unconstitutional” then it ain’t a law – it’s a tyrannical edict.

No one will ever be convicted of a “hate crime” if I’m sitting on the Jury.
