    Cool! Of course this won’t include the ones who chase off the perps while avoiding the hassle of reporting to the police. This is a good thing.

    I have ArcMap on my work computer but I’ve found it easier to import Excel files into Microsoft Streets & Trips. With mappable addresses or latitude & longitude files you can make a map for just about anything. I made one that way with every mosque address I could find, over 2,000 in the U.S. Then I did a separate layer with jihadi crimes, but that is a full time job trying to keep up with muzzie crime and new mosques.

    It’s pretty cool though, you can add information for each point, even pictures or web links. MS Streets & Trips costs about $40, and you can avoid having to use online mapping that way. Great tool for planning road trips too.

    It’ll never come close to being complete-there’s gotta be an untold amount of people who brandish a weapon and prevent a crime-like I did-and it goes unreported-like I didn’t report it

    I’m guessing that there are many non-reporteds in cities like Chicago and other gun-free zones where people have “illegal” arms with which to protect their families.

    When you click on the pins and read the descriptions, most say something like…

    “..police advise against confronting the criminal.”
    “..police say the victim will not be charged.”
    “..charges against the victim will be dropped.”

    This is a huge job and they have a way to suggest incidents they can include on the map. I know some they need… will tell them.
