    15% discount for showing the cashier your permit, 100% discount if you point the barrel at her.

    (For me, this one is borderline loopy. Do you realize how many people go to pick up a pizza when they’re stoned or drunk?)

    IOW, let’s remember there is an appropriate time and place for things.

    I’m not sure what you’re trying to say.
    Are you saying that people with concealed carry permits get stoned and drunk, and that’s all it takes to become an armed-robber?

    I think he is saying that a large percentage of people who pick up pizza are stoned or drunk (i.e. have the munchies), which when combined with a CCW permit, leads to irresponsible behavior – or at least greatly enhances the liklihood.

    Regardless, it’s a pretty specious argument, as probably over 90% of CCW carriers are WAY past the getting drunk and stoned and calling out for munchies age. Not to mention the fact that CCW training emphasizes the illegality and legal consequences of carrying a weapon while under the influence.

    All in all, I’d say it was a weak attempt at playing devil’s advocate.

    The left is going to pick up the Brevik meme and run with it, saying Lanza was a crazy conservative fascist shooting down children so they wouldn’t grow up to be lefties.

    I saw the libs mention that Brevik thing on tv and figured they would run with that in an attempt to shift blame. They said they are also trying to locate people who knew Lanza from the online video games he played in his mother’s basement.
    The kid is a basement liberal. Progs don’t want to own any of the damage they create.

    Of course criminals pick the easiest target, animals do things like that instinctively. No animal in nature will risk its own welfare on the strongest in the herd, they go after the weak.

    Why don’t these folks go to the police station and start shooting people?

    Because the police HAVE GUNS!
