    When I was a kid living in the Philippines, there was an Airman on Clark that quit going to church with his family, claiming he was tired and need to sleep in. A few weeks into this, his wife slipped into the house quietly and spotted him sleeping in with the maid, after a round of coitus. So she quietly boiled a large pot of water, tossed it on the two of them and left. Alerted by the shrieks, neighbors called the medics.

    While the military worked to fix him up, the poor Filipina was badly disfigured for life

    The wife was not charged, he was courts martial-ed.
