Obama To Get Pro-Golf Lesson On Weekend Getaway

President Obama is heading to Florida today for a holiday weekend golf getaway with friends. But Obama will be doing more than just enjoying his favorite pastime. He’ll also be getting golf lessons from Tiger Woods’ former coach.
While his wife and daughters hit the slopes on their annual Presidents’ Day weekend ski trip, the president will be soaking up some warmer weather on the links at The Floridian in Palm City, Fla.
Woods’ old instructor Butch Harmon and his son, Claude III, are reportedly flying in to work with Obama at the club’s new high-tech learning facility, which Harmon helped design.
“I’ve played golf with Ike, Nixon, Ford and President Bush 41,” Harmon told Tim Rosaforte of Golf Digest. “I never played with President Clinton. I met him in the Oval Office. It’ll be interesting. I know the president is a real keen golfer. I’m looking forward to it. It should be fun.”
“It’ll be fun to get him down in the learning center, show him stuff in his golf game and see how he takes it to the course,” Harmon told Rosaforte. “He’s just like all of us that play golf. He wants to get better.”

It is interesting the article neglects to mention Harmon’s golf lessons cost $1,000/hr. per Golf Digest.. Since you can’t even buy a federal employee a coffee, obama must be paying for this service, no?
