Kook County Jail

Home - by - February 15, 2013 - 19:00 America/New_York - 8 Comments

Chicago, the home of the Messiah, is warehousing people who belong in hospitals in the county jail. The real “crisis” in this country is the mental health crisis, and the flaccid, unthinking response by progressives is to punish law-abiding citizens by stripping them of their rights.

Can we just lock up the gov’t and let the crazies go free? At this point, what difference would it make?

It’s not just Chicago, it’s everywhere. Jails and prisons are the de facto mental hospitals now.

Believe it or not, MSNBC had a pretty good documentary series called “Lockup” about ten years ago that really took a hard look at the corrections system and how much of a strain the mentally ill are (in many ways).

What that sheriff released this week is really nothing new or unexpected.

A $400,000/year administrative job at a local hospital where patients could be “properly directed” so this doesn’t happ……. Oh wait ….never mind

Why do they think it will take less than the six employees holding down the feces lady in the jail and save the state money if she is moved to the Oregon State Hospital, Building J?
