McCain Says He Would be ‘Comfortable’ With His Daughter Serving in Combat
(CNSNews.com) – Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said he would “feel not only comfortable but proud” if he had a daughter serving in a front-line combat position in the U.S. military.
“I have a son in the military, I have another that’s a navy pilot, I have another one who served in the Marine Corps, and I would certainly feel not only comfortable but proud,” McCain said after President Obama’s State of the Union address when asked by CNSNews.com if he would be comfortable with his daughter serving in combat.

Let me just say as the parent of a daughter-soldier that NOBODY IN THEIR RIGHT FCKN MIND could ever be COMFORTABLE with their daughter fighting in a WAR ZONE. You will know what the word “worry” really means, and it sure doesn’t mean “comfortable.”

Although I admire McCain’s service, the question to be asked of him is would he want his daughter to become a prisoner of war?
Nobody wants their child to be held captive but as a father of girls, I really wouldn’t want my daughters to be held.

McCain has been allowed to dine out far too long on his VietNam service.
