Fort Hood Hero Says President Obama ‘Betrayed’ Her, Other Victims

ABC News

Three years after the White House arranged a hero’s welcome at the State of the Union address for the Fort Hood police sergeant and her partner who stopped the deadly shooting there, Kimberly Munley says President Obama broke the promise he made to her that the victims would be well taken care of.

“Betrayed is a good word,” former Sgt. Munley told ABC News in a tearful interview to be broadcast tonight on “World News with Diane Sawyer” and “Nightline.”

“Not to the least little bit have the victims been taken care of,” she said. “In fact they’ve been neglected.”

There was no immediate comment from the White House about Munley’s allegations.

Thirteen people were killed, including a pregnant soldier, and 32 others shot in the November 2009 rampage by the accused shooter, Major Nidal Hasan, who now awaits a military trial on charges of premeditated murder and attempted murder.

Tonight’s broadcast report also includes dramatic new video, obtained by ABC News, taken in the immediate aftermath of the shooting, capturing the chaos and terror of the day.

What?! You mean to tell us that after all of the photo-ops and exploitation that could have been milked by this administration that promises were broken and victims are being ignored? Say it isn’t so…. I, for one, am shocked!
After all, it was just an everyday case of “workplace violence”… ALLU-SNACKBAR!

That’s what “workplace violence” will do to you…thank you hagnet nappytano. This administration does nothing but disgrace and shame our military.

Kimberley, sorry, but if you’d been paying attention for the past few years, this wouldn’t have come as a shock.
Doncha know, he’s got more important things to do.

F’rinstance, Drudge is reporting that the Won has taken 57 vacation days since promising that he “Will Not Rest Until Anyone can find a GOOD job”.
Dude’s busy. Now quit hassling him.
Maybe you could call your friend, Moose. I hear she needs a stylist.

The treatment of these victims is one of those occasions where I wish my cynicism towards Oblowhole was unwarranted.

Unfortunately, I was right to expect nothing but pandering and exploitation of this tragedy from these people. This administration is the shame of the nation.

When will they learn. When the federal government – ESPECIALLY the presididn’t of the US – calls to say they want to help, you run as far away as you can from them.

Maybe she could get help from the Sandy Storm people because they have so much excess because they got all they were promised by the One and more.

Sorry I have no sympathy for the press whore.

I am glad that you ran this story Cardigan. Thank you for spreading the word about that traitor in the whitehouse. He is a back-stabbing liar and a disgrace to the office he is expected to serve.

Were I a loved one of any of the soldiers murdered at Ft. Hood, I’d be planning how I could take matters into my own hands and exact vengeance. Guaranteed, Hasan will not be brought to justice as long as O’Bumble is in office. Think of it….a Muslim (loved by O’Bumble) murdered U.S. military soldiers (hated by O’Bumble). Why should he be punished for doing what O’Bumble is doing through funding and ignorant policies?

She had to have had her head shoved WAY up her ass to have believed that BO would help anyone – but himself and his big time donors and fellow thieves.

I think she deserves a little respect for speaking up for the victims. Very few politicians are doing as much as her. If anybody in Washington had any balls, 0bama would have been in Leavenworth four years ago.
