Tea Party Community—the new Facebook alternative—has come under relentless attack ever since it started getting some mainstream press about a week or so ago. By relentless attack, I mean trolls swarming all over the site, doing everything from being the obnoxious little pricks that they are, to trying to instigate acts of terrorism under the banner of the Tea Party (e.g., something like this). They’ve also DDOSed the site at least once.
Let me pose a question, because I genuinely don’t know the answer: How many times have left-wing sites been brought down by right-wing “activists”, or infiltrated by hundreds or thousands of conservatives bent on doing nothing but causing as much grief and criminal activity as possible amongst the left-wing community?
I’m going to go out on a limb here and answer my question with a guess: never. Never have a group of conservatives done anything remotely similar to what happens to every and any conservative community at the hands of liberals/leftists.
If true, the reasons for this abound. For starters, conservatives are generally kind, peaceable, honest, tolerant, and responsible. Liberals, in general, are just the opposite—snotty, belligerent, duplicitous, rabidly intolerant, and completely irresponsible. Additionally, conservatives generally feel the need to spend their time productively—typically, by working a job of some sort—while liberals, smugly suckling off the government teat and all too happy to live in squalor, have all the free time in the world with which to wreak their havoc.
And, as the traditional wisdom goes, an idle mind is the devil’s playground.

I have a funny feeling things are about to change when it comes to conservatives behaving in a civilized manner… I think we’re right at the tipping point and when we do “tip”… look the F&%$ out. It ain’t gonna be nice.

I do troll left wing sites occasionally, but I do not leave so much as a hint that I’m conservative.
Instead I get the greatest pleasure out of them rallying beside me and the stupidity of what I’ve posted. It’s even better when I’m able to draw conservatives into the thread and make liberals look even more idiotic.

Brad, they’re all over the place, many times links found here on IOTW send you right to them. Just flip through the comments and you’ll know if there’s a decidedly libturdial bias.
I’ve been doing it for years. Long ago (12+ years) I used to hang around a (non-political) but mostly conservative forum, we had some chump there who always took the liberal path. He would reference his talking points and where he obtained them and that’s when I first signed up. I found him in the comment section there and I would side with him and his pals until I gained their trust. It was extremely humorous when he would then take my talking points back to the conservative site. That’s when I started exposing what I knew about him to his pals at the liberal site because he wasn’t the tree hugging liberal he portrayed to be on the liberal site… Blew his freaking mind (quite possibly literally) as he hasn’t been seen or heard from since. Further word got back to me from pals on the conservative site that I was to blame for his demise. lol!
Try these, just sign up and be as obnoxiously liberal as you can be, they will love you! When the time comes that your bored of doing so, find a way to make them all look stupid and accept the banning. Change your IP and rinse and repeat!

Back during Bosh v Gore, there was a fellow who went over to Democratic Underground and managed to set up several hundred fake accounts there. At the time, any hint of Conservatism was dealt with by an immediate tombstone and deletion of the offending remarks, so the game was on.
He somehow got each of the accounts to post the same obnoxious drive-by “fuck you” message almost all at once, and it took them weeks to track down every one of them and purge.
It has been done, just not in a big way in a while…
