They ought to be!
He’s negro.
He’s smart (truly intelligent, not that pretend shit like Obama).
He speaks well.
He’s unafraid.
The facts are on his side.
He used enough little words that the socialist stooges could follow his speech.

The Left’s standard attack just won’t work this time
1.) He’s a racist – no, that won’t work in Liberal Bizzaro World blacks can’t be racist
2.) He’s a greedy capitalist – no, the man’s a well respected doctor at a major hospital
3.) He hates the children – no, the good doctor is neurosurgon and the Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery
They can only hope to turn him (like Powell), disgrace him (like Cain) or try to ignore him (like Allan West, who will not be ignored).

I just similarly commented on the other Ben Carson story, below.
I want to remind us to not meet hatred with hatred on the subject of Ben Carson. It would be deeply ironic and not a little pathetic to grind on the Left in the same manner they are grinding on Carson and, by extension, Christian Americans. It is never lost on the Left when a so-called Christian uses the same vile language used by them and it is clear as gin to every onlooker, too. And so what remains the distinction between a Christian and the Godless Left?
Ben Carson said that he calls upon the Lord to give him the right words to say and he led his breakfast speech by emphasising four scripture passages, including 2 Chronicles 7:14 which reads: “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
I’m going to hedge my bet and say that the good doctor has something groovy going on with the Almighty and if God gave him a national platform through which to pass on a key message you better believe, brothers and sisters, that I’m going to take it seriously. Anyone who’s ever read and understood the book of Isaiah cannot escape the stubborn lunacy of the Hebrews (living in sack cloth and ashes) when they were confronted time and again with the same message. And we all know where it got them.
Please join me in praying for the Left’s liberation from evil and for their understanding of God’s powerful message — as reminded by Dr. Carson. And join me also in prayer for the salvation and healing of each of us, that we will repent of our sins and turn our faces back to God — especially me, someone who knows the wages of sin and yet does it anyway.
Thanks.

He showed the world through that video clip what a fraud 0bama is. The traitor had his pants pulled down around his ankles and was given a historical wedgie by a man that knows how to treat misbehaving children.

Quite an impressive man and that was one of the best exposes/explanations of Lib-dork idiocy I’ve seen in years. Hope to see a lot more of him because he obviously torques their tails in a very painful way.

I sat down and watched that entire speech, one of the greatest smack downs of Obummer and the leftist policies and the best was Obummer had to sit through it. Also notice at the end Dr. Carson did not go over to shake Obummer’s hand? Double bitchslap!
I also noticed that Moochelle did a lot of clapping while Obummer’s stayed under the table. She must have been listening to her mp3 player on the sly, clapping when she saw the audience clap.

Skankowsky got up early to paint in her eyebrows. Sounds like the batteries she uses for her vibrator (that poor piece of equipment!) are the same ones being used in her talking points, running on empty!

“‘Well that’s not fair because it doesn’t hurt the guy who made $10 billion as much as the guy who made 10.’ Where does it say you’ve got to hurt the guy? He just put a billion dollars in the pot. We don’t need to hurt him.”
- Is completely antithetical to the class warfare and rage O&Co have come to depend upon. When people realize the entire prog scheme is one to evoke a dead-end sensibility and way of life (inner and outer) – that’s when we lead them one by one to a rational perspective.

Oh the Left is having a HISSY fit that he didn’t show respect to the President. Rhetorical question alert–Since when is it disrespectful to question authority ESPECIALLY when it was done with Biblical references at a PRAYER Breakfast.

There’s a reason I removed Althouse from my bookmarks and only click over if referenced by someone I respect.

@RosilindJ – Ann Althouse is douche bag.
I didn’t know that the keynote speaker at the prayer breakfast was supposed to display reverence to Obumphuk. I thought it was all about God, and doing the right thing.
Frankly, he got the respect that he deserves – zip, zero, nada.
All honor and glory goes to God the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, not the false god residing in Washington DC.

Dr. Carson was speaking truth to power. Obama is not about money. The elite left is all about power. More and more. Can’t get enough of it. Rush tells us everyday that it’s not about money it’s about control/Power. So how do we take power away from this folks that continually abuse it?

@AbigailAdams I can only pray for the destruction of the left.
If the lord guides them out of their Sodom and Gomorrah of an ideology then my prayers will be answered. If they are utterly destoryed by their belief system, then my prayers are answered as well. I reserve all vengence to the lord.

I enjoy watching Bob Beckel on “The Five”. He is sometimes reasonable. He immediately went into a tirade that the prayer breakfast was no place for this kind of talk. The prayer breakfast. Did not address one scintilla of the actual speech, just on and on about the venue…he had nothing he could actually refute..

And if everyone feels so led, please pray for my sick sense of humor. It’s an ongoing work-in-progress.

@Dr. Tar — One thing that we can rely on is that the Left is sown with the seeds of its own destruction. We know all the sins they purposely commit as a matter of their stated mission and tactics. I just don’t want anhone of faith to get ensnared by the evil that animates the Left. It’s really mothing to mess with. It doesn’t mean we do nothing, but it does mean we do it through love — and that’s where God comes in. I think it was either Carson or Metaxas (whose 2012 prayer keynote I also watched) who said that man can do nothing good without God’s intervention, without his aid.
And here’s another reminder I came across this weekend that gave me a chill: In Luke, chapter 8, verse 18, Jesus Christ is talking about believers when he says, “Therefore consider carefully how you listen. Whoever has will be given more; whoever does not have, even what he thinks he has will be taken from him.” (NIV)
A clearer translation of this is from the New Living Translation: “So pay attention to how you hear. To those who listen to my teaching, more undertanding will be given. But for those who are not listening, even what they think they understand will be taken away from them.”
You’re right in reserving all vengence to God.

@Abigail–
I’m grateful for your comments. Multiple thumbs up to you, if I could do it.
Keep watching for these prophets from God. They appeared all over the place when the Israelites were abandoning God and His laws. We are doing the same; God will not fail to speak to us in unmistakable ways.

Very many thanks, Mary(fromMarin). I consider myself a cautionary tale. There was a time when God was as real to me as you are. I don’t know what exactly happened, but I have been wandering the desert for about six years now. So, like Job, I am sticking and staying despite a feeling of abandonment — but I know it is because of me and not God. Now I take His word very seriously and don’t want others to suffer as I am. That Luke verse really got me to thinking about where I took a wrong turn.
Thanks again!

So what did he say?
He said:
1 Political correctness is dangerous.
2 God is important in our lives and our nation .
3 Education is dangerous, that’s why there’s so little of it.
4 Punishing producers is foolish
5.Everyone needs skin in the game .
6 Good heath is too important to put a bureaucrat between you and your doctor
7 No one needs be a victim
8.If YOU control your health care dollars you will spend them wisely.
9.What you make of your life is up to you (i.e. personal responsibility)

Dear Abigail,
The wandering in a desert is something even the strongest of Christians sometimes does. The blessing comes from the habits already formed of prayer and scripture reading. God has not left, and you are not doing this on your own. Sometimes we are sent out to prepare ourselves for the difficult work ahead. I believe that God is with you (closer than you may think) waiting until you have finished your wandering and searching.
It actually sounds to me, from just a few brief entries I’ve read by you on this thread and others, that you are moving out of that desert right now. Just watch and wait and soon it will all be clear again.
Blessings, my friend in Christ.
