Leave the Poor Homely Girl Alone, She’s a Mute
So somebody posted a picture of an ex-Packers NFL Cheerleader on Facebook and the comments weren’t kind. Is this girl ugly? No. Is she cheerleader hot? Well, if the purpose of a cheerleader is to be eye candy she’s not quite there.
Why am I posting this 1st world problem video? Because I need to vent about these stupid-ass flash card videos. Does she not have the ability to speak? What purpose does it serve to write all of this out and then not simply read it?
The first person to make the pity-party flash card video created something unique.We watched it because we haven’t seen it since Bob Dylan did it FIFTY YEARS AGO!
Now I want the people who make us suffer through the unnecessarily slow and agonizing card turning to die in my sleep. (Not in their sleep. My sleep. I want to wake up in a world where this doesn’t happen anymore. Too harsh? Perhaps if I write it on cards, and flip them, you’ll all see very clearly that I’m really the victim here.)
It’s almost as if these pinhead’s wishes have come true when they finally have something happen that is remotely flip card-worthy. STOP IT! The only people still moved by these videos are professional empaths who have a symbiotic relationship with the professional victims.

INXS did a decent video with the flashcard bit too. Aaaannd that’s about it. The idea of this format lending more gravity to the situation is ludicrous. It’s clearly a passive-aggressive gesture from a person who can’t just brush things off. The only positive side are some of the parodies.

Unlike other NFL teams the Green Bay Packers do not have an official cheer leading squad. They are typically local college students.
The Packers had the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay (UWGB) cheerleaders cheer after they no longer had professional cheerleaders (1988). The team currently uses college cheer leading squads, with the UWGB squad (coed) and St. Norbert’s (all girl) cheering at each home game.
