Now where was I? Oh, right; talking about distractions.
Yesterday as we learned from Secretary Panetta and General Dempsey that we did “everything possible” even though neither BO nor Hills were kept appraised of the attack on our consulate in Benghazi.
Apparently nobody in news central found that odd, as the evening’s newscasts, podcasts, posts and tweets were preoccupied with other critical issues. Most were busy communicating dire warnings and hand-wringing over the impending blizzard in New England. Because it’s winter, and these folks have never seen a blizzard before. Not one like this anyway.
Oh, and the manhunt in California for the murderer who has killed several people was also high on the must play list, as it plays into the cause du jour – gun control. No mention of the murderer’s political affiliations however (because being a member of the anti-gun club, the I-heart-Obama club and the Piers Morgan fan club seems to rule out his being a right-winger; although he may be a bit mentally instable).
And speaking of gun control and the mentally instable, what is it with celebrities and politics anyway? Why do they feel compelled to share their meager thoughts on real issues with the rest of us?
Is it because their talent, training and experience gives them special insights?

Know how the Progtard teachers and enablers always insist on participation trophies and telling every single kid how they are “special” and all that “takes a village” crap? Well, celebrities actually believed they were talking specifically about them. They think they really are “something special”, “better” than everybody else… Delusiotards like Chris Crackrock believe they have a “moral obligation” to use their position of fame and their extraordinary uniqueness to “nudge” and manipulate the rest of us cattle!!!
