While it looks like they just painted up a new cripple zone, before the painter ever arrived the curb was already painted blue. Usually anywhere I see a blue curb, I see a cripple zone.

I’m with Vinny . . . whoever filmed this probably came in after the blue curb painting.

Our local paper publishes names/offenses/fine amount in a traffic court column. What I’ve noticed is fines for a simple 5mph over speed limit have more than doubled. It costs people over $250 if they’re caught going 30 in a 25mph zone. Fits the meme that cops are being told to crack down on ALL drivers, no matter how small an offense. That’s the only way local governments will be able to survive if federal money stops flowing.

90% of handicap parking is used by fat people or by someone who can claim they drive a handicapped or senior person once in a while (but NEVER when I see them).

So first off, they’re a scam. Second off, most handicapped persons need exercise like everyone else and they are likely to get the least amount so why give them the space right up front?

THE ONLY! consideration I would give is to a WHEEL CHAIR BOUND person who would be below eye level as they traversed the parking lot and need extra space to exit their van. I always return my shopping cart to the handicap spot.

Have to agree with sablegsd there Maudie! I’m not totally handicapped and look great for the first fifty yards or so, but beyond that – forgetaboutit! Don’t have a decal yet but thinking seriously about it after attending a football game and having to leave at half time to make it back to catch my ride leaving over an hour later!

Looks like the model for gun control laws to me.

With one exception. The government has to ignore a restriction from infringing on gun ownership to pass gun restriction laws. No such restriction inhibits them from screwing the owner of the car.

It happened in Israel. The woman didn’t get very far with the city until she got her hands on the security tape.

Looks like some shit they would pull in Boulder, Colorado. Never saw a sideways tow rig though, not a bad idea for a wrecker. You could steal anybody’s parking place with a rig like that.
