If that story is accurate, someone should start a pool to send him to Hawaii (Maverics is the nick name for the North shore of Oahu if I remember correctly).

At least that guy hasn’t been neutered yet. He came to someone’s defense, up against a big, crazy person instead of whipping out his cell phone to video and then upload to utoob.

The world is completely upside down when the good guy is a hitch hiker with a hatchet ready to use on the driver.

What are we to tell the children to watch out for if it isn’t hatchet wielding hitch hikers?

I like him too. His opening statement reveals what ever he’s carrying from WV (if that is where is’s from). It’s not just altruism; it’s the kind if thinking one does on the road to forgiveness.

At the 2:40 mark is where he shines as the person I hope he’ll become. And I’m glad he was there too.

Lol @ the 10″ delay! Too right.

I’m in agreement with BigFur. I like Kai. In all that messiness and expletive eruptions, this kid has a light inside of himself. A good light.

He clearly understands the difference between good people and really bad people. Maybe that’s why he says he has no family. Maybe his family isn’t such good peeps. Perhaps hopelessly bad peeps whose sphere he escaped from. Only he and they know.

As I’ve said before, ‘everything has meaning’. Kai was there for a reason. Kai’s strong sense of right and wrong made him take action without much thought. He just did what he needed to do without hesitation. I will keep Kai in my thoughts and prayers.

I also pray the gentleman who was pinned between the car and truck will be ok and will mend well in mind, body and spirit.

So, he’s from West Virginia and wants to be a surfer. He doesn’t have a family and the first thing that came to my mind was, he’s straight out of the movie Deliverance. He would fit right into the Occupy Wall Street group.

He should get a gig traveling around the country as a motivational speaker for people who are trying to stop cussing but need some extra inspiration.

    Damn!

Strange mixture of personality there. I hear the Marines are looking for a few good men. Free haircuts too. Trade that axe for a rifle, dude.

    Goldenfoxx I call BS.

Kai is not out of Deliverance nor OWS. I don’t agree with some of his choices and his vocabulary. But he knows right from wrong about the important things.

He has a sense of proportion is response to wrong things done, and for forgiveness and respect for people who have made a mistake. He knows he can’t cast the first stone.

And he knows, if he could go back in time, it would be the right thing to do to part the guy’s hair before he could rape a 14 year old in the Virgin Islands. He wouldn’t follow DHS training to hide under a desk. In short – Kai is a man of action.

If he doesn’t want to give his age or a last name to hide his identity that is his business. Maybe saying he is originally from Sophia, WV was a slip up or a deliberate false clue to obscure his identity.
