Marriage Parody

Marriage is defined as the legal union of one man and one woman. That’s what a marriage is. Every adult not already married has the right to marry. As a matter of law every adult male has the right to marry the woman of his choice and every adult female has the right to marry the man of her choice. So no adult is denied the right to marry.

Many adults choose to not marry; they choose to “play the field,” or they lack the temperament for marriage, or they never met the “right” person, or they simply don’t like the other gender. People choose to marry for all sorts of reasons; love is only one of those reasons. One of every five male homosexuals will marry the woman of his choice; one of every three lesbians will marry the man of her choice; these unions often produce children. So every American has always had an equal right to partake of the social institution defined as a marriage – the union of one man and one woman.

Homosexuals have never been denied the right to marry; they have simply chosen to not marry; they are now clamoring for the invention of a new social institution and they want everyone else to pretend that this new institution is also a marriage just like the traditional institution everyone else calls marriage. Their neediness is endearing, but every same-sex union will always be one genuine sex organ short of being the union of two complements which is the defining feature of a marriage – it is the marrying of two complements that is the essence of this institution. Any other arrangement is just a marriage parody.

The union between two opposite sex people is biologically speaking so completely different from the union between two people of the same sex, it can not be defined in the same way, biologically speaking and still convey any meaning. Not to mention culturally, historically, or religiously.

Long read, but well worth it, but let me say this, every time I read the word “polygamy” I thought:

Polygunmy: A mans right to own multiple weapons

but the money shot was towards the end…”the gays are taking up the rear…”

    read and see.

A demand for special privileges based on unnatural sexual orientation that not long ago was considered a mental illness. The mental problem is still there, just overlooked, even promoted by Hollywood as something of great worth.

Made a gay woman very mad one time over this subject. She was a co-worker of my GF and had the hots for her.

This subject came up in conversation and I knew her real problem was that gay marriage was not considered normal yet by the general public. But she never framed it that way. It was always: “I’m being held down- I’m not allowed to marry like you guys are!”

So I cut through that and was adamant she could marry anyone she wanted. No one was stopping her. She blustered some but it always came back to: ‘Who’s stopping you? You can marry if you want to.’ (My point? – man or woman, no one’s stopping you. You just want others to be different than they are and treat you as if you are like themselves.)

The deer-in-the-headlights look came over her face. Eyes became unfocused. Jaw clenched. She turns to my GF and asks through her teeth: “Will you marry me?”

hahah I burst out laughing. I couldn’t help it. With a barely suppressed smile I clarified that ‘Of course the other person would have to want to marry you too!’

OK. Party over. Everyone had to leave now. :D

Neat thing about the conversation is I didn’t get subjected to the false argument any more after that from her.

Bottom line, IMO, they want us to be different so they can feel better. Yeah, good luck with that.

“In fact, a minute of number crunching on a two-dollar calculator using FBI crime statistics reveals that any gay selected at random is statistically eighteen times more likely to sexually menace a youngster than is a similarly-selected straight guy.”

The same churches that now proudly perform gay “marriages” also sponsor Scout Packs and Troops. If you have a son in Scouting, you need to pay attention to the BSA decision on openly gay Scouts and Scoutmasters today. Once again, we find crony corporations in league with the radical gay agenda. If your church is leading from behind on gay “marriage”, they will surely do the same on this parody of Scouting.

Only one of my sons did the Boy Scout thing.

The Den leader lived across the street, a couple of house over.

She was gay. There was no agenda being driven and I never felt threatened by the fact she was invloved in the boy’s life in a good way. She was a good neighbor too. So knowing her made it easy to accept.

If it was a male Den leader that was gay I would have to take a close look at his behaviour – just as I did for everyone I placed my kids in the care of. Flamboyantly gay? Outta there with son in tow.

Mainly, my concern is if any Den Leader’s sexuality is a part of the Den then I’m out. Don’t care what your sexuality is. Even relatives get this scrutiny. Found some messed up stuff on my wife’s side of the family.
