I miss being a young boy back in the 50′s and 60′s when we had toy guns like that. I wonder if it came with Greenie stick em caps! Pretty cool stuff. And Roy Rogers is still one of the best in my book. Thanks.

I want one of those cute little guns – but for real. I bet it could make a cute little hole in someone’s head.

I would use it only for defense against a mugger. Really.

Happy Trails to you Roy. I remember when Roy died in 1998. The scumbag Clinton was out there lying to everyone who would listen. I thought how sad it was that a truly good and decent man like Roy Rogers passed away and a despicable man like Clinton was still walking the Earth.

    Times have surely changed.

Anyone besides me remember the Fanner 50′s. Pretty cool little toy revolver. Had one when I was a kid. And what’s the name of that little deringer that was on a belt that shot toy bullets when you stuck your belly out or swung your hips, can’t remember. And no kid I ever knew was ever killed by a toy gun. And certainly not by a picture of a gun or a tank, airplane etc. etc. And we all had toy guns, BB guns, pocket knives (how else can you play Mumbly Peg on the school grounds during recess), sling shots etc. Too bad all the fun has been taken out of little boys.

I could have taken that to school when I was kid and everybody would be envious, probably including the teacher. Today it would get you arrested and expelled.

    What have we done?

Yes aardvark, I had one. Mine was silver with staghorn grips. I had the holster rig with leg tie. Also recall greenie stickums. You could put more than one on the brass “cartridges”to get a bigger bang. I also remember 6-shooters that used roll caps.
Do you remember the Man From UNCLE secret agebt attache case?

We had a gun range in the school basement. Do schools still have gun ranges?

So glad I was the youngest and only girl with brothers many years older.

Cap guns, BB guns, playing army or cowboys and indians — what a life! :)
