Chris Matthews Smears John McCain as an ‘Angry’ Vietnam Vet Having a ‘Flashback‘

Liberal anchor Chris Matthews on Friday stooped to new low, smearing John McCain as an “angry” Vietnam veteran who is having a “flashback.” Resorting to the cheapest of stereotypes, the Hardball host attempted to explain why McCain so aggressively opposed Chuck Hagel’s nomination to be Secretary of Defense.
Matthews opened the show by sneering, “Why is John McCain so angry? Forty years after the Vietnam POWs came home, the most famous of them is angrier than ever.” Regarding Thursday’s congressional hearings, the journalist asserted that Vietnam “flashbacks must haunt still the mind and heart of John Sidney McCain.” Dredging up the cliches of the unstable Vietnam veteran, Matthews declared, “…But I’m absolutely convinced we’re watching a flashback.”

Chuck Hagel had a disastrous hearing. He looked like he was suffering from borderline dementia. He was ill prepared. He couldn’t keep his lies straight. He bumbled, stumbled, and ummed his way through his embarrassing testimony.
And yet, Chris Matthews focuses on John McCain?
Hagel probably could have stood up, unzipped and urinated all over the floor and Matthew would have criticized McCain for not letting Hagel take a potty break.

John McCain might be rino shit, but to talk about flashbacks is about the lowest insult that piece of sh!t chrissy could have made.
The Man never turned his back on America — never gave into the enemy — while under pain of torture. And that was very real torture, not that pussy waterboarding crap. McCain probably still has nightmares about his stay in the Hanoi Hilton.
Matthews is the lowest form of pig feces.

Mathews knows nothing as he continually shows us through his commentary.
Outside of pulling strings in 1968 to serve in the peace corps and avoid vietnam, what does he know of vietnam or the hardships endured by anyone.
Hagel would be more disasterous as Sec. of Defense than his testimony implies.
The only flashback Mathews has is from his kool-aid acid trips while singing Kumbaya.
He still drinks the Kool-aid, it appears.

I’m not the biggest McCain supporter, and I still think he should retire. But, while McCain was suffering in a North Vietnam prison, “Chrissy” was probably sipping wine in a bar with hanging baskets.
