I will just excerpt some ramblings -
The only way we can truly be safe and prevent further gun violence is to ban civilian ownership of all guns. That means everything. No pistols, no revolvers, no semiautomatic or automatic rifles. No bolt action. No breaking actions or falling blocks. Nothing. This is the only thing that we can possibly do to keep our children safe from both mass murder and common street violence.
For example, if we have a guy who purchased 6 guns over the course of 10 years, but only registered two of them, that raises a red flag. Now, maybe he sold them or they got lost or something. But it gives us a good target for investigation. A nice visit by the ATF or state police to find out if he really does still have those guns would be certainly warranted.
We must make guns expensive and unpopular, just like cigarettes. A nationwide, antigun campaign paid for by a per gun yearly tax paid by owners, dealers, and manufacturers would work well in this regard. We should also segway into an anti-hunting campaign, like those in the UK. By making hunting expensive and unpopular, we can make the transition to a gun free society much less of a headache for us.

the president is extremely popular. it would be political suicide for any dems to go against him.
gun control is super popular now. that combined with the president, we can do anything we want.
gun owners have no place in the democratic party. they’re good people, yes, but they must get rid of their guns.

the right for the common citizen to own a deadly arm only exists in the mind of a few demented justices and their NRA handlers.
tell that to the correct 4 justices -just wait until one of the 5 keels over and dies. then we’ll get a correct ruling.
for the last time, militias=2nd amendment. it doesn’t mean any yokel can own a gun.
the only effective control on guns are no guns. and i do not apologize for wanting a gun ban. let them think what they want. i dont care if they dislike that i want to take away their precious murder machines. fuck them.

i think you underestimate how popular and influential our president is. he lead democrats to all those victories. he is incredibly popular, and if he put his mind to it and reminded how much he had done for those senators, we would certainly have the votes.
there is nothing here that is unconstitutional. all rights are fully protected.
no time like the present. strike whilst the iron is hot etc.
we need strict liability for weapons being stolen. It should be a felony to have your weapon stolen from you. You took the chance to have a weapon of death in your house, now you pay for it when it gets stolen. Additionally, the gun owner should be responsible for all crimes committed with the weapon. The owner bought it, made it available to criminals, now he must sit in the nest he has made. If the gun is used to kill someone, charge both the shooter and the owner with murder. Simple.
These simple laws, that can be enacted by Executive Order immediately, will make it a huge headache to own a gun. It will also make it very costly. The cheapest gun safes go for at least a few hundred bucks each. Two of them will put gun ownership beyond the reach of most people. Not to mention the thought of life in prison if your gun gets stolen and used to kill someone.

I wonder if he likes cooked carrots. I hate cooked carrots, so I think we should ban cooked carrots and I don’t care what he thinks about it, we have more people that agree with me than with him and my president can do anything he wants to so cooked carrots are now banished from this country forevermore and the ban even reaches into the past so anyone who made their children eat cooked carrots can and should now be arrested, strapped to the electric chair and killed until they are dead because cooked carrots are no longer popular because I said so.

I didn’t do a very good job of “sexing it up,” but go look at the “Cuomo’s Answer Squad” video in the Bull Pen listings. It has some very unhappy gun owners from New York who are giving Cuomo’s goon squad a run for the money with their questions.

Somewhere else I read that they think they turn kids/youth against guns within a generation. I’m sure that’s what’s behind criminalizing all these kids for bringing toy guns to schools or pointing their little fingers like pretend guns.
They’re forcing their message on little 6-year olds that guns are so BAD that even toy guns will even get you thrown out of school!
It’s up to us to get the counter message across and teach our kids to hunt.
