Down here the Palm Beach School District has its own police force, full-time certified police officers, armamentarium, cars, Mars lights, the whole nine yards. It was started to protect students from each other and teachers from students and J.D.’s.
This may be a blue county but they don’t live in a fantasy world like the people of Connecticut apparently do, judging by the outcome of recent elections as well as this video clip.

While I don’t want to argue that guns are terrible tools that do nothing but kill innocent babies, I think a few of you gun rights advocates should check some of the fantasy at the door.
I don’t know what the answer is, but arming every citizen and hoping for the best isn’t it.
