There’s an animation legend that some of the original Disney animators made a “stag film” with Mickey and Minnie Mouse for one of Walt Disneys’ birthday parties. Even though he laughed at the film, he had all copies burned and fired the people who did the work

I know a very talented animator who is going thru the Disney Talent Development program…he’s poised to be the next gen of animators making very cool future Disney movies. I cannot wait to see what he does.
I worked with him at his first art job at a game company. Helped him do background paintings. He has FAR surpassed anything I could hope to do. He’s paid his dues…I wish him HUGE successes!

I like the retro style and enjoyed it more in the black and white format. Very well done.

I saw that with my kids before a showing of Wreck It Ralph at a local IMAX. Fun to watch in 3D.

Great animation.
I do have one question, though, that has been haunting me for a while: just when did Disney animators decide to give their heroines, Giant Squid eyes? And why?
Plus they seem to be getting incrementally larger and larger as time goes by. I’m sort of afraid to project what a Disney animated heroine’s face will look like in a few years’ time.
