The next time I need to travel somewhere, I’m going to call 911. Somehow it’s now the duty of other people to defend me, and therefore I’m not responsible for being a defensive driver; that is the job of someone else. Same with walking somewhere, my feet can’t help me defend myself from tripping on the nearest pebble. I’m sure they will especially appreciate it when they are dispatched to come cut my steak.

What really irritates me about Pierced Organ, is that he will never give the other side time to talk.
And his favorite tactic when someone is giving him a good verbal bitch slapping, is to go to a commercial break so he can cry for mommy with the cameras turned off.

And his constant pathetic mantra.. Who really needs an AR-15..
Many people in this country need rifles of that type. If one lives on a ranch near the Mexico border, and has illegals, and smugglers crossing their private property on a near daily basis, many of whom may well be armed with fully automatic rifles, well, Pierced Organ, that is a viable reason to own and use such a rifle.
Not to mention that is makes a great rifle for wild hog hunting.

I noticed the shooting of the girl who was at the inauguration sure had a certain “false flag” quality about it.. Just didn’t really make sense for an everyday shooting.

The police in this country have absolutely no legal obligation whatsoever to respond to any call, nor can they be penalized for refusing to do so. My well being is MY responsibility. I will only call the police to do litter pickup of the body lying in my yard. Those that break the law are to be punished, not those that abide by the law. Many potential crimes are averted simply because the intended victim merely brandished a firearm. Nobody has statistics of how often that occurs because few ever report when a crime was averted. If you want the government deciding your every move or to “protect” you, then perhaps North Korea will be more to your liking, seeing as how you have deem England unfit for your habitation. I am a native of this country and intend to defend the American way of life, as per the oath I took in 1978 when I enlisted in the United States Army. You see, that oath is to the Constitution, NOT to some bunch of idiotic, megalomania-cal so-called public servants that beg us for jobs every two years only to show utter contempt for the American people that hired them in the first place. You have absolutely no clue about the meaning of true liberty. The reason that we are armed has nothing to do with hunting or target shooting, although back then if you did not hunt, you did not eat. The reason is to prevent a government from imposing tyranny upon us. If that be the case, then we have the right and the DUTY to cast off such tyranny and choose another government that will protect our rights, not take them away. The reason we have never been invaded is due to the fact that their are 300 million (approximately) privately owned firearms and billions of rounds of ammunition to go along with said firearms. No army (or armies) on this earth could stand up to such withering firepower. Besides, in defense of our Constitution and way of life, those armies also know that we would take no prisoners. The short version? If you do not like our way of life, then get the eff out! Just remember who it was that drove your asses out 200+ years ago. It was not a regular army, it was ordinary people that fired first because the Redcoats demanded that we give up the stores of powder and arms. A bunch of rag-tag hastily assembled private individuals defeated, at the time, the most powerful army on the earth. DO NOT TREAD ON US, for we are not going to go meekly along with what the government decides is “for our own good”.

I agree with BBrad on two points here.

1. I’ll hold him for you as long as you aim for the throat too. (His silence would be golden).

2. Not impressed with the .223 all that much. It’s high rate of fire is the ONLY thing of interest to me. I like .308s – some with high rates of fire some with bolt action. All goodness.
