Frankly, I believe the idiots who don’t know what the Constitution is or why it is important couldn’t care less about the president lying about it. There were a lot of Germans who, after the war, still couldn’t or wouldn’t connect the dots. They were in everything for themselves and when you believe that all truth is relative you’ll believe anything and nothing. You become a law into yourself.

Or you take a bunch of uneducated people who are used to social workers prying into every intimate detail of their lives and their family’s, friend’s and neighbor’s lives and haven’t a clue what sovereignty means much less how it could possibly apply to them, and it’s very easy for them to believe, based on their own experience of government intervention and oversight, that the Constitution is a document written for the eighteenth century.

Then, when we’ve got a substantial number of progtards who think it’s much easier for the government to tell people how to live because it works so well for their “pet” minority groups, it makes complete sense to scrap the Constitution.

It’s not that they don’t understand the freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution, it’s just that their programs won’t work under it. That’s what we’re up against.
