Unbelievable, the Duke nails it decades ago

I can almost see the hipster prog journo interviewer, with his wide tie, wighat, sideburns and bellbottoms, salivating at all the “gotchas” he thinks the Duke is giving him.
Of course it was way back when,so it could also be a mature, sympathetic and respectful interviewer bringing out the best in a legendary man.
Either way, we win.

“There’s not a lot we can do to change human behavior…” How right he is, former liberal turned conservative. He would have been a great spokesperson at the RINO convention – before Clint. RIP, Mr. Wayne. We love you.

You tend to forget that the fight against Socialism and Communism isn’t unique to us and our times. John Wayne was probably the first person I was aware of as a kid, that the press was going after, trying to tear down. But, I didn’t understand it then. I don’t understand a lot of things and why they happen even now. However, back then, the schools hadn’t had time to indoctrinate their pupils and we held off the ‘hoards’, as it were. Can we still? I hope, as Mr. Wayne says–we still have enough optimistism left in the America.

Here’s another one with John Wayne that was linked at the end of the first video.

Norm, you probably know this, but just in case, that was his kid in that clip. We could use a few John Waynes today. I never miss his movies no matter how many times I’ve seen them.
