Every day??? You didn’t even change it up with strawberry or vanilla?
I’ve never had it. Butterhorns and gallons of coffee for me. Have up real coffee after that.

That was my breakfast before going to work each day for years and years. I can’t remember why I stopped buying it, unless it was that they started charging the same price for 8 packs a box for what used to be 12 packs a box.

Last time I checked, a few years back it was, Instant Breakfast was lower in calories, sugar, sodium, and had better vitamin and protein content than Slim Fast. ( I believe SF has changed it formula since)
So I figured I’d lose a few pounds, and decided on the Instant Breakfast since it looked to be a healthier option. Well, I had forgotten how much I loved the stuff ……….. and you know the rest of the story.

Almost every day thru high school, loved the dark chocolate one.
Breakfast during high school? Oatmeal, Corn Flakes, or Wheaties. The most healthy part of my adult life was when I was eating oatmeal for breakfast every morning for nearly 10 years straight before going to work. I need to get back to that.

I had a doctor tell me if I ate a bowl of oatmeal every day from a teenager to older adult, I’d never have heart trouble or a stroke. Does anyone know it this bears out the truth?

@Joe, just FYI, I know an old Scottish guy who has eaten a huge bowl of oatmeal for breakfast his entire life. No matter what else happens, he has to have his bowl of oatmeal.
In the twenty years I’ve known him, he’s never been sick.
He retired once, decided it wasn’t for him and went back to work. He just bought a new pub (he now has two).
And oh yeah…he just turned 81.

Forget the chocolate flavor. Coffee-flavored Instant Breakfast was the BEST! They don’t make it anymore and I still miss it.
