Hah! Look at all the STONES aimed at the GLASS HOUSE! Several good points made in thecomments, but I don’t think that was intended to be an actual living space. Most of us still would prefer either a log cabin in the woods, an insular apartment with opaque walls in a city or a River City, Iowa-like small town.

The post title implies that there is some kind of leftist campaign against Corning. Isn’t that company located in leftist New York? Aren’t its workers unionized? Doesn’t it pay exhorbitant NY taxes? How much of the technology we saw is made in and imported from China?

I don’t think people will allow themselves to be held hostage to new technology any more than they do now. I was easily capable of ignoring a hard wired ringing phone when I had one. It drove other people nuts. So the trick is to use it only for what you want.
