Hopefully the bad guys do the right thing and call ahead. They’ll need a little time to get the guns out of the locked safe.
Left Coast Dan
From NPR report: School police Chief Billy Green says the guns are stored at police headquarters but trained officers can take them to campuses and keep them locked in their offices during school hours.
We’ll see. My guess is the libs will end up forcing the guns to stay locked up at headquarters, rendering them useless.
Bad Brad is right; if the teachers or staff are not carrying loaded weapons at the moment the shooting starts, kids are going to die.
Good. I’ve spent more time in Fontana that ever I would have liked. I’m mildly surprised they hadn’t done this before now.
El Dorado County (Ca) sheriff wrote a letter to Biden and told him to stick it.
What? Back the truck up! Haven’t we been lectured over the last month by experts like Dianne Finestein that ARs are lousy for self defense? I guess Fontana PD missed the memo.
You can actually smell the stupid through the computer on that woman that says being armed will make the bad guys meaner and more armed. By her logic, if all cops gave up their guns for spitball shooters, the bad guys will only use slingshots?
She sounds like bam bam negotiating the missle defense program with Russia now the he is more flexible.
and the worst part…she is in a leadership role on our next generations edumacation…
Ohh…here is an Idea! Give them the paper guns the get from the kids! That way if the bad guys bring assault rocks, the paper wins!
Paper covers rock!
ohh…but what is they bring scissors? It could get ugly….
I don’t know about locking them up and leaving them. Knowing how crooks operate. I would rather they have conceal carry making the hot lead accessible at a moments notice.
I don’t know. This cops and schools thing is bound to backfire, government employees working together = more ways to fcuk the common taxpayer.
I received an automated call from the school last week about the cops doing a sweep with dogs at the school looking for drugs.
Nothing like bringing kids up and teaching them in a public penal system, it’s no wonder so many people just walk away from their rights.
DiFi and DHS disagree, When the DHS feels the need for a PDW, personal defense weapon, they chose the AR15 with 30 rd mags. Wonder why they’re the only ones in the government that doesn’t call them an assault rifle?
It’s not about vengeance, it’s about self defense. But I see no reason for storing them at the school if the cops are minutes away when seconds count.
