    I know that my observations don’t constitute a scientific study or even a representative cross-section but… I’ve asked many Libs about abortion over the years and I have usually found a strong desire to NEVER talk about the topic in detail.

    One of my favorites is the canard of
    -I don’t personally believe in abortion but I won’t interfere with someone else’s “rights”.

    This line of total bee ess has been traced to a group of dissident “Kathlyc” priests & theologians at the Kennedy Hyannisport compound in 1964. Most (all?) of these people have left the Church sine this event.

    The reply I give to this is “I’m personally opposed to robbery and murder but I don’t want to interfere with the hip-hop carjacking culture in Newark NJ”

    Needless to say this doesn’t earn me many invitations back to their parties but the older I get the less I give a crap about people who aren’t bothered by black genocide.

    @jeckylmyhide- yeah, I know. With Libs and those that they’ve indoctrinated it’s never about reality. Just feelings and good intentions. The Commies had a very valid point about getting hold of kids young and “educating” them.

    It isn’t that they don’t consider a life doesn’t count until you’re finally not dependent. That’s not their rationalization. Their rationalization is that it isn’t a baby yet, it is just a potential human. The flaw in this is and what exposes it as just a rationalization is that a potential anything is something which requires an action outside itself to create it and cause it to come into being. A sperm is a potential human being, an egg is a potential human being. It takes an action outside themselves to create the human being.

    Once created and left to its nature a thing is what it is. It’s no longer a potential human being. Once created it no longer takes a outside force to create it, only to destroy it.

    To not believe in the fact that life begins at conception is to believe in transmogrification -

    a thing cannot change its existence, on its own insistence.

    A rock cannot will itself to be a tree.

    A river cannot will itself to be a mountain.

    A socialist cannot think itself sane.
