Well, Maher isn’t all that funny, but neither was Carlin. In fact it sounds like Carlin wrote Maher’s script, and I found nothing in it with which I disagreed. I mean, if Ann Coulter can tolerate him as a dinner partner, I can at least listen.

Maher was funny and so right – I thought I hated him. The Russo guy and Rockefeller? Whoa, that’s a stand alone. But travelguideformen touting foreign women as less evil than American women is a disservice- the ones who pretend to be sweet and old fashioned are actually much worse and dishonest to boot.

Well, HC if you’re giving the devil his due and being strictly neutral about it, Maher is not totally unfunny, but he wasn’t that funny. Most of the comment threads here today were funnier than Maher’s 4 minute dialog. There are about 10 people associated with this website who are as funny as Maher, in my hostile opinion
