ANGRY WHITE DUDE LIBTARD OF THE WEEK – DEMOCRAT SPEECH WRITER WENDY BUTTON
AWD

AWD has never heard of Wendy Button until I read her NY Times op-ed that was linked to one of the right-wing extremist blogs I read. There are generally two things I don’t care about and both of them are opinions from yankee libtards who write op-eds in the NY Times. Half of the NY Times op-eds are so ridiculously stupid, they don’t warrant reading. The other half are worse.
Wendy Button is a liberal speech writer. Which means she makes her living writing such gems as “the Republicans want to push Grandma over the cliff” and “Teabaggers are Nazis that eat babies.” Writing libtard speeches ain’t no job any self-respecting person should have. Why not just sit back and live off of welfare like the rest of those of your talent?
Wendy Button is also a person who suffers from depression. Well, she’s an ugly womern and a libtard. Go figure. Of course she’s depressed! Hell, the Big Sexy would be too if I looked like a mutt and the only men who agreed with my left-wing ideology were a bunch of socialist poofters!
Msssss. Button said in her op-ed titled Please Take Away My Right To A Gun, she reports that her house in DC was broken into. She called 911 and luckily the police arrived and arrested a drunk man. Afterward, she considered buying an evil gun until:
I remembered who I am.
I am one of the millions of people in this country who live with depression. I knew that in the gun registration form there would be a version of this question: Have you ever voluntarily or involuntarily been committed to a hospital? The answer is yes — voluntarily. But because my hospitalization was years earlier and I wasn’t in treatment at the time, I could have gotten a gun.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 38,364 Americans lost that fight in 2010 and committed suicide; 19,392 used a gun.
Studies show that women use less violent methods to commit suicide like drugs and carbon monoxide poisoning. Has Mssssss Button removed all prescription drugs from her home? Does she have a car? Does she live on a one-story domicile so she can’t hurl her depressed self out the window? It appears her only concern for her safety as a depressed, ugly womern is not having a gun.

See, here’s what’s different between Liberals and Conservatives:
We believe that if you don’t want to buy a gun, then don’t buy a gun.
You believe if you don’t want to buy a gun, then I shouldn’t be able to buy a gun.

Hey Wendy – just because I don’t want a boyfriend with batteries doesn’t mean you can’t have one.

They don’t like guns because they don’t trust themselves not to turn one against themselves or others.
Problem is, they think we gun owners have the same fucked-up lack of will and self control.

Again, more proof that in order to write a column for the NY Times you have to be psychologically challenged.

Based on her clinical depression, what baffles me is, from what little I know of A) background checks and B) the federal form you have to fill out when purchasing a gun, this chick wouldn’t stand much of a chance getting a gun anyway. So, whatshe’s *really* whining about is, because SHE has clinical depression, THE REST OF US should lose our 2nd Amendment right. Bite me, Button.

bubba recommends a rope, a rafter and a chair. problem solved. bubba also says very little mess to clean up as well, perhaps some poo and some urine. bubba says a good mop can handle that. bubba further says if miss burton supplies an address that bubba will be glad to send her the rope along with instructions. miss burton need only supply the chair and rafter.

Lucky for her the police station was right around the corner huh? I guess in a gutted 2nd Amendment world, real estate close to police stations would be considered prime.
When I read this yesterday, the comments were already closed-check ‘em out, our dear Wendy is no where near alone-and my comment was going to be, If you don’t want a gun, than don’t fucking get one.
Such is the case with REgressives, it’s not enough for you to have a choice of a smoking or non smoking restaurant, you’ve got to make it illegal to smoke in the biker bar up in the mountains, which you’ll never visit in a million years.
You don’t trust yourself around a gun, fine don’t get one. Me OTOH, feel perfectly comfortable heavily armed. Hell I’ve got a beautiful old 9 shot H&R .22KLR single action hanging in my bathroom. Maybe I better get it out of there…you never know what depths that first look in the mirror in the morning will send me to.

White forelock and facial dysmorphism, check. I can’t see her eyes well enough to tell if she has iris pigment abnormalities. But, if she has mentioned anywhere in her columns that she has a hearing disorder, than all this would be enough to diagnose her with Waardenburg’s syndrome.
She is pretty open about her depression, which would definitely fulfill the neurologic disorder qualification for Type IV Waardenburg’s. I’d really love to give her a full neurologic workup to confirm the diagnosis, but I don’t really care all that much, and I’m sure she doesn’t think she has a problem anyway.

I remember Wendy Button well. After watching Obama in action, she famously bailed on Obama in the waning days of the 2008 campaign,
A Former Speechwriter For Obama Bails
October, 29, 2008
Wendy Button just can’t take “The One”, any longer. She’s voting for McCain. Here’s the last page of her three page cri de coeur:
“Here we are discussing Governor Palin’s clothes—oh wait, now we’re on to the make-up—not what either man is going to do to save our economy. This isn’t an accident. It is part of a manufactured narrative that she is stupid.
Governor Palin and I don’t agree on a lot of things, mostly social issues. But I have grown to appreciate the Governor. I was one of those initial skeptics and would laugh at the pictures. Not anymore. When someone takes on a corrupt political machine and a sitting governor, that is not done by someone with a low I.Q. or a moral core made of tissue paper. When someone fights her way to get scholarships and work her way through college even in a jagged line, that shows determination and humility you can’t learn from reading Reinhold Niebuhr. When a mother brings her son with special needs onto the national stage with love, honesty, and pride, that gives hope to families like mine as my older brother lives with a mental disability. And when someone can sit on a stage during the Sarah Palin rap on Saturday Night Live, put her hands in the air and watch someone in a moose costume get shot—that’s a sign of both humor and humanity.
Has she made mistakes? Of course, she’s human too. But the attention paid to her mistakes has been unprecedented compared to Senator Obama’s “57 states” remarks or Senator Biden using a version of the Samuel Johnson quote, “There’s nothing like a hanging in the morning to focus a man’s thoughts.”
But thank God for election 2008. We can talk about the wardrobe and make-up even though most people don’t understand the details about Senator Obama’s plan with Iraq. When he says, “all combat troops,” he’s not talking about all troops—it leaves a residual force of as large as 55,000 indefinitely. That’s not ending the war; that’s half a war.
I was dead wrong about the surge and thought it would be a disaster. Senator John McCain led when many of us were ready to quit. Yet we march on as if nothing has changed, wedded to an old plan, and that too is a long way from the Democratic Party.”

Wow, Nice Deb. Nice illumination you brought there.
Is she bi-polar or something? Two postitions she has taken that are so far apart on the sanity scale.
Yet, I’m sure she totally stands behind each. Akin to someone telling you they love you as they beat you. Something doesn’t add up for me concerning her stability of mind.
